This book is great for learning Chinese characters, pinyin, and songs. The illustrations are on point, and my daughter loves the panda character. The song selections are also perfect -- they overlap with a lot of the songs we sing at home already. Now my daughter can listen to it on her own without using electronics. I was at first concerned that she wouldnt know which button matches up to which song, but the icons by the buttons match up to the illustrations.

My daughter loves this book! The only thing that seems off is that the pinyin is above the characters when it usually is below. Other than that it is perfect! We will be buying every volume that comes out.

Love this book. Love the first book as well. My 1 year old cant get enough of it. I just wish there were more songs! One of the East songs, Good Baby Rabbit, brought back memories for my wife when her mother used to sing that exact song to her when she was a child! She had forgotten all about it until now. I really like how there are some songs that are fast, and some that are slower. I dont speak Chinese, but I was able to practice with the slow ones first, then move on to the faster ones. Also, my baby is drooling a lot but these pages seem to be doing just fine in terms of not sticking to each other unlike other board books that were drooled on. Thank you Peipei for these amazing books!

Great quality and sturdy book! I just bought my 2nd copy because my baby loves it so much that he always sleeps with it. Sound quality is great, songs are smoothing. Highly recommend!!!

Our 10 month baby loves the original red one so it was a no brainer to buy this one when it came out! He started walking a few weeks ago and he’ll come press a button to play a song and go off to play and will toddle back periodically to start a new song. He treats it like his music player. Now he’s got two!

Our daughter loves all the three books. Great soft singing voice allows my daughter to sing along and enjoy the book. Adjustable 2 level volume is perfect in small settings like cars or larger settings like doctors waiting room (yes, she loves bringing the book with her). Author Peipei is also very nice and accomodating. She contacted us and sent us replacement right away when we have issue with volume setting on one of the books.

We absolutely love these books everything about them! They did such a good job I just wish there were more.

The music stop working already, not worth the money

My child was gifted this book over a year ago, and he loves to press the buttons and him/sing along. Unlike other sound books, the sound is pleasant (not electronic sounding) and the volume control is a nice feature. Exposure to another language at an early age is important to us. Not being a fluent Mandarin-speaker, it’s nice to be able to follow along using the printed words to teach our son. It’s a well-made and well thought-out product. Highly recommend!!

My son loves this book. Great addition to the first book and a good mix of Chinese childhood songs and familiar english nursery songs.
