> 3 dayMy 18 month old plays the songs over and over. Also, he is quite the book biter and this thing has survived very well. My friend from China saw them at my house and loved them so much I gave the set to her kids as a gift.

> 3 dayWe are thrilled to have both of these books in our library. It provides a mix of both American and Chinese children songs to learn in Chinese and English. We love that they are sung in Chinese but the English words are also provided. My kids love to play with these books at home and in the car too.

> 3 dayMy recently turned 3YO son has been totally obsessed with the first Bao Bao book since last year and we love it so much its now become a staple in our gift rotation to welcome newborns, for toddler birthday parties, when visiting friends with little ones, etc. In the process of purchasing yet another gift copy, I was delighted to stumble across this recently released second book. My son recognized Bao Bao on the cover immediately when the Amazon box arrived and had already excitedly torn off the plastic shrink wrap before I even had time to find the scissors, and soon the familiar sound of Bao Bao’s songs was coming from his room. Over the past few days we have found him on multiple occasions just rocking in his chair listening to Bao Bao while enjoying his milk and snack (lifes pretty awesome when youre 3!), and hes already started picking up some of the new songs from listening to them on repeat, so needless to say, the new Bao Bao is a huge hit! I am always impressed by how quickly toddlers pick up new things, but the fact that every word of mandarin my son has learned so far comes from the Bao Bao books is really a credit to the genius of this adorable learning tool. He has always enjoyed push-the-button books, but Bao Bao is so much better -- and more often used -- than the piles of interactive toys we have amassed over the years. In fact, given how often our copy of the first book is played with, Im shocked we havent had to replace our copy by now -- we havent even had to replace the batteries yet -- so bonus points for a high-quality product in addition to the great songs and cute illustrations. The last thing Ill say about the Bao Bao books is that, unlike many other toys/books which make noise and can drive parents to the brink of absolute madness (especially in quarantine, where both space and patience can be limited...), both my husband and I get a kick out of the Bao Bao books, so much so that we dont even mind that its become a bit of an unofficial soundtrack to our WFH calls and web meetings. Highly recommend!!

> 3 dayWe have a lot of Chinese books, but it is really hard to get anything of quality in the US. Many are written in a way that doesn’t make grammatical sense. This was pretty good. Some of the songs translated are a bit forced. For If Your Happy and you know it. We usually sing “Ni Hen Gao Xing, Ni Jiu Pai Pai Shou” which I find to be a more fluent adaptation of the song. Also, I prefer this book. Chinese Nursery Rhymes Sound Book with Pinyin, Chinese and English. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z4LS2B5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D3xoFbXV89TZ5 It has classic Chinese songs, sung in a more pleasing voice and music quality. I also like that unlike this book, Cali’s books has each button for a song on each of the pages, much more intuitive for kids. This book puts all the buttons on the right side where the music box is.

> 3 dayMy kids love this book! My oldest has learned some of these songs in his mandarin immersion class at school and this lets him practice at home and learn some new ones. My younger 2 love the songs as well and try to sing along with their big brother! We love that you can control the volume and its not another loud, obnoxious toy!

> 3 dayMy family loves the first book so much and so I got this one as soon as it came out and we are all super happy with it. The book contains some classic Chinese songs as well as some songs that has the familiar American tunes. The author definitely put a lot of care and thought in creating this book, everything is just so well packaged and designed. I cannot speak or read Chinese, but want my child to learn Chinese, and this book is also teaching me Chinese along with my child. The sound are very clear and make it easy to follow each word for pronunciation purpose. This is a book that exceeded my expectation and I cant wait for more. I am getting just as much from this book as my child.

> 3 dayOr friends baby has this book and when my 18 month old heard it, he feel in love! They gifted him his own copies of these sing books and hes been timing to these songs everyday for a month now. He finds and pulls them of the shelf then claps and giggles when the music comes on :) The books are made well, perfect size for a little toddler, good sound quality, can turn off volume and adjust btwn low and high volume, easy to turn pages... added benefit of teaching me mandarin too (Im cantonese). Hoping for a cantonese version soon too! Thank you for these wonderful books!

> 3 dayThis is the second time we bought a Bao Bao book. Our little one LOVES them! The only issue was the plastic musical part on the book didnt have enough glue and fell off. Its okay though, we just play it separately and can glue it on again if desired. This author did a really great job with the music, pictures and song choice for both books. If only there were more great bilingual Chinese/English books to buy on Amazon.

> 3 dayLove this book. Love the first book as well. My 1 year old cant get enough of it. I just wish there were more songs! One of the East songs, Good Baby Rabbit, brought back memories for my wife when her mother used to sing that exact song to her when she was a child! She had forgotten all about it until now. I really like how there are some songs that are fast, and some that are slower. I dont speak Chinese, but I was able to practice with the slow ones first, then move on to the faster ones. Also, my baby is drooling a lot but these pages seem to be doing just fine in terms of not sticking to each other unlike other board books that were drooled on. Thank you Peipei for these amazing books!

> 3 dayI really like this book after being not impressed by other chinese-english type books. Really nice recordings with voice and piano, no harsh or jarring sounds so easy on the ears. Its only in chinese which is a plus for me. The author wrote Us a nice note she mentions she is a small business owner in brooklyn. Very pleased to support her. I did not receive any compensation for this review.
