Greater than one weekMy child was gifted this book over a year ago, and he loves to press the buttons and him/sing along. Unlike other sound books, the sound is pleasant (not electronic sounding) and the volume control is a nice feature. Exposure to another language at an early age is important to us. Not being a fluent Mandarin-speaker, it’s nice to be able to follow along using the printed words to teach our son. It’s a well-made and well thought-out product. Highly recommend!!

> 3 dayThis is the second time we bought a Bao Bao book. Our little one LOVES them! The only issue was the plastic musical part on the book didnt have enough glue and fell off. Its okay though, we just play it separately and can glue it on again if desired. This author did a really great job with the music, pictures and song choice for both books. If only there were more great bilingual Chinese/English books to buy on Amazon.

Greater than one weekBaby and I love it !! We bought the first book Back in April 2020. After learning the songs and singing them almost everyday, I just had to get the second book! My now 8 month old baby constantly reaches for both the bao bao books and instantly calms down after I start singing or playing the lovely melodies. I’m so glad that it’s finally available for purchase! I highly recommend this book for non-native mandarin speakers as the songs really help you to learn and follow along. Although it’s a bit of an expensive purchase, it’s a great investment for any child’s introduction to mandarin chinese. Please make a third book in Cantonese !!

> 3 dayWe bought this book because we loved the first book! The second book was also equally amazing. Our little one (1 year old now) always grabs one of these books for us to read to him. He picks it up and demands that we sing! Great for those who are just learning Chinese. I was born in the US and learned mandarin growing up, but my literacy was soso. This book really allows for all skill levels to use.

Greater than one weekThis book is adorable. My kids 2 and 5 both love sitting together and listening to the songs they know in English and try to follow along in Chinese. The illustrations are beautiful, the singing is so lovely and a real person, not an electronic voice. Highly recommend to parents whose kids love to push buttons, sing along or learn a new language!

> 3 dayI have a 4.5-year-old and a 9-month-old. They both love both the Bao Bao Learns Chinese books. The songs are delightful and enjoyable for everyone. They dont get on my nerves like a lot of books with buttons. They are great for taking in the car, but they get a lot of use around the house as well. It has been almost a year since we got the first one and its just as popular as ever with my older son. Its helping him grow in his ear for and enjoyment of Chinese. These are my favorite Chinese language-learning tools. We are hoping for even more books in the future. Thank you!

> 3 dayI work with both elementary and daycare children and I definitely see myself including this book into my classroom library to expose my kiddos to a new language early on. I love being able to incorporate different cultures into school on a daily basis and literature like this book is such an easy way to do so!

> 3 dayThis book is great for learning Chinese characters, pinyin, and songs. The illustrations are on point, and my daughter loves the panda character. The song selections are also perfect -- they overlap with a lot of the songs we sing at home already. Now my daughter can listen to it on her own without using electronics. I was at first concerned that she wouldnt know which button matches up to which song, but the icons by the buttons match up to the illustrations.

> 3 dayJust what I was looking for! My little one loves these books and her cousins do too (ages 6m to 4 years all enjoy). Weve liked them so much that our friends and family have also bought copies for their children to listen and read at home. The only thing I wish was that some of the songs could be a little bit more upbeat because they are all sang very softly. Great purchase and highly recommend!
