> 3 dayThis book is adorable! My daughter had been learning Chinese with her grandparents but won’t be able to see them for a while, so we got this book to help her remember. She loves listening to the tunes. They’re cute and catchy! The book is so well illustrated, and I love that the lyrics are written in Chinese l, Pinyin, and English. I got this book before the first in the series, but I’m definitely going to buy the first one now too.

> 3 dayMy 7 yo and 5 yo love that these are some of their fave songs but in Mandarin Chinese. The pros are its sturdy, has 2 volumes and off sound switch. The only con is that the book uses simplified Chinese and we prefer traditional. My 5 yo even brought it into preschool for show and tell and his teacher thought it was great for the other students to hear their fave songs in another language. Overall a great learning and song book for children and makes a great gift!

> 3 dayI have a 4.5-year-old and a 9-month-old. They both love both the Bao Bao Learns Chinese books. The songs are delightful and enjoyable for everyone. They dont get on my nerves like a lot of books with buttons. They are great for taking in the car, but they get a lot of use around the house as well. It has been almost a year since we got the first one and its just as popular as ever with my older son. Its helping him grow in his ear for and enjoyment of Chinese. These are my favorite Chinese language-learning tools. We are hoping for even more books in the future. Thank you!

03-06-2025I really like this book after being not impressed by other chinese-english type books. Really nice recordings with voice and piano, no harsh or jarring sounds so easy on the ears. Its only in chinese which is a plus for me. The author wrote Us a nice note she mentions she is a small business owner in brooklyn. Very pleased to support her. I did not receive any compensation for this review.

Greater than one weekOur daughter loves all the three books. Great soft singing voice allows my daughter to sing along and enjoy the book. Adjustable 2 level volume is perfect in small settings like cars or larger settings like doctors waiting room (yes, she loves bringing the book with her). Author Peipei is also very nice and accomodating. She contacted us and sent us replacement right away when we have issue with volume setting on one of the books.

> 3 dayHighly recommend for exposing kids to Mandarin. Great production value on the songs. The Chinese traditional songs have really interesting melodies and lyrics. Youll find yourself humming them around the house. The Western songs have slight differences in lyrics that youll pick up if youre studying Chinese on your own.

> 3 dayOur baby has been enjoying this book since 6mo and still loves it at 16mo. As a bilingual household, we were eager to find ways for our baby to be exposed to mandarin. This book was a great solution to that. Our baby loved to flip the sturdy pages and listen to the music. And now that shes older, she proactively goes to grab the book and pushes the music buttons on herself. We have both mandarin Bao Bao books and gift this to friends.
