08-06-2025Both my 7 year old and 1 year old love this book! The songs are great and clear! Love especially “you are my sunshine” on the newest book. I sing it to my boys all the time and they were excited to recognize it in Chinese!

Greater than one weekMy grandson LOVES these. I originally bought one, and I got a little sick of singing the same songs over & over so I decided to get the other 2 in the series this week. We literally can sit all morning with these & he just flips the pages (hes 10 months old & a little rough but the books are really sturdy) while NaiNai sings the songs. I really want him to be bi-lingual (Ive insisted my daughter in law speak to him only in Mandarin, lol) so these books are fabulous. Sadly, theres not much quality Mandarin learning products out there for little ones (not just on Amazon, but anywhere in the US), so Im really glad I found these. Theyre not cheap, but isnt that what grandmothers are for? Hes expecting a sibling in a few months, so Im glad that more than one child will get to use them. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayWe love this book! My daughter is five and have the first book and we were so excited to get the second one. It’s a great mix of songs and she loves listening to them. The illustrations are adorable and the music is natural sounding. Would make an excellent gift!

Greater than one weekIts a great intro to Mandarin Chinese for my little one. We bought the first book so we definitely had to get the second. The tunes are pretty catchy and I find myself singing to them too. The only thing I wish was that there were more songs that came with it than 6 but then again, too many songs might find my daughter struggling to learn them. Cant wait for your next one!

> 3 dayAs an Asian-American parent, it was very important for my son to learn English and Chinese. There arent many interactive childrens books out there that offer this. Im so glad I was able to find this one! I already have the first volume and my son loves to sing along with his grandparents. It brings back childhood memories in all of us. The author has done a wonderful job creating this book. She sings the songs and her pronunciation is clear and easy to follow along. The book is durable. There is a switch on the back to allow you to control the volumn. Overall. I am very excited to add this new edition to my sons library.

> 3 dayEnjoy the first book and was excited to see a second one. Great quality book and audio, nice illustrations. My 3 yr-old enjoys listening to these and was happy to receive the sequel for Chinese New Year! Good for me too to learn a little Chinese! I like that theres a mix of Eastern and Western songs.

> 3 dayMy daughter was born in China and we moved to US when she was two. She already knew some mandarin but keeping her skills is real challenge here because we don’t have any Chinese speaking relatives and she is too young for tutor (she is four now). These books are really the best out there!!! I looked everywhere, I asked my friends in China, I tried Chinese platforms Taobao and Aliexpress, nothing even compares to happy little bear books. All other books I was able to find are either boring or too difficult for my girl. We have couple other nice books with just words and pictures but it’s definitely not for independent play and she needs me to engage her. Now that we have both books from Happy bear club she can explore mandarin songs on her own! She plays with books by herself for long time, she plays the songs for her toys, she “reads“ them to her dolls, she sings the songs and her toys “sing” them too ))))) Within a few days she almost mastered one song without my help! I hope this company will have more books in future, these are a must for any young mandarin learners, I highly recommend!
