Or friends baby has this book and when my 18 month old heard it, he feel in love! They gifted him his own copies of these sing books and hes been timing to these songs everyday for a month now. He finds and pulls them of the shelf then claps and giggles when the music comes on :) The books are made well, perfect size for a little toddler, good sound quality, can turn off volume and adjust btwn low and high volume, easy to turn pages... added benefit of teaching me mandarin too (Im cantonese). Hoping for a cantonese version soon too! Thank you for these wonderful books!

We are trying to teach our infant and toddler Chinese and these books are great. (I dont speak Chinese, my wife speaks some). Unlike most kids toys/books, the songs are pleasant to listen to for us parents, and according to my wife have clear pronunciation. This book and the second book from this company are my kids favorite books, and the older one specifically looks for it when its not around. I gave one to my sister/brother-in-law and their kids(also learning chinese) love it too. My toddler tends to destroy the things she loves, and Ive had to make a couple of repairs (taping pages, glueing the electronics back on). Still, giving the book a 5 for durability because its built as well as any other high-quality board book and shes destroyed others (melissa&doug of similar quality) in the same way.

This book is truly one of a kind! We have been looking for good bilingual books to teach our niece Mandarin for over a year, and the Bao Bao Learns Chinese series is by far our favorite! We loved the colorful illustrations, the melodic singing voice and the clear sound quality! Our niece reaches for this book when our family comes over and theyre so impressed with how quickly shes learning Mandarin phrases. Cannot recommend Bao Bao enough!

The book was really nice. Cute. The kid was so excited for his new book. The only thing compared to the red one is that the sounds from this seem to be lower volume than the red one. Hopefully nothing’s wrong with the book. Or we might have to return it or something.

Excellent book for people that don’t even speak chinese. The book has chinese, pinyin, and English and it’s wonderful.

My son loved it just as much as the 1st volume. He has chewed and dropped it quite a bit already however it still holds up well.

Our son loves this book. He presses the buttons on his own for the songs he wants to hear. We usually read it with him in the morning, right when he wakes up, which gives us 20 minutes of peaceful cuddling with him before he starts wanting to run around. Favorites so far are the Teapot song and Happy New Year. We are raising him to be bilingual, and these types of books are really helpful to connect him with his culture.

Baby and I love it !! We bought the first book Back in April 2020. After learning the songs and singing them almost everyday, I just had to get the second book! My now 8 month old baby constantly reaches for both the bao bao books and instantly calms down after I start singing or playing the lovely melodies. I’m so glad that it’s finally available for purchase! I highly recommend this book for non-native mandarin speakers as the songs really help you to learn and follow along. Although it’s a bit of an expensive purchase, it’s a great investment for any child’s introduction to mandarin chinese. Please make a third book in Cantonese !!

We love the first Bao Bao book, so we were thrilled to find another book by this wonderful author. This is an adorable and wonderful resource for early Mandarin learning, especially for families where the parents are not Mandarin speakers. The sound quality is very good and not shrill or tinny like many books of this nature — and the lovely voice of the singer happens to be the author herself. Very sweet and highly recommended.

Absolutely an amazing find!!! This book is so engaging, my 3 and 5 year olds are endlessly captivated by the songs and pictures. They are learning Chinese and having so much fun. Such a creative idea. We bought the first book and are loving this second one even more! We love Bao Bao!
