> 3 dayIm an expecting mother and was so excited to receive this book as a gift! The book comes beautifully packaged with batteries included. The artwork and music are so cute! Even though I dont know Chinese, its easy to follow the Chinese lyrics with the songs. (My favorite is My Dear Mom -- so sweet!) I cant wait to read this with my baby -- it will be a fantastic learning experience for my whole family. This is the perfect addition for her nursery! I highly recommend Bao Bao Learns Chinese for new and expectant mothers!

> 3 dayEnjoy the first book and was excited to see a second one. Great quality book and audio, nice illustrations. My 3 yr-old enjoys listening to these and was happy to receive the sequel for Chinese New Year! Good for me too to learn a little Chinese! I like that theres a mix of Eastern and Western songs.

Greater than one weekWe own both the red and blue versions from this author. It really seems like a lot of careful consideration was put into the creation of these books. Both books are well made and I appreciate the attention to detail in having 2 volume settings. I also really like the songs included in each book. Because my son is already familiar with the Western songs, I think it made it more approachable to try to learn familiar songs in Mandarin Chinese. The words are printed in a few different ways to make it easy for someone to follow and sing along. I will most likely be purchasing this book to gift to family and friends with small children in the future.

> 3 dayAwesome customer service! Easy to communicate regarding a ripped book binding. My daughter really enjoys these books so she was upset that one of the books’ binding ripped. I reached out to customer service and Peipei responded and sent us another book. Thank you Peipei!

> 3 dayDue to COVID my little one has not been able to attend Mandarin classes. I felt he was losing interest and more importantly, practice! We are not a Mandarin speaking family, so I was thrilled to hear him sing along after just 3 days with the book!

> 3 dayThis book is awesome! My daughter is 18 months & she loves this book - there is a high & low volume — three western songs that most people know + 3 songs that are popular for kids in China ~ she recognizes the tune & dances to each song.

Greater than one weekIn truth my LO would have said LOVE the first book and like the second. LO plays the first book a lot more than the second. I enjoy the songs in both and listening to them helps me learn mandarin as well. We liked the first book and my LO would play it often. I jumped to get the second one as I needed more mandarin books in circulation. This book is great overall. Cute pictures, good music, and cute songs. The pages are thick for little hands to turn. Weve had the first one for about a year and this second one for maybe 6 months; still in great shape. I saw a review complaining about the length of the songs. Some are a bit lengthy though there are English songs just as long or longer. I also like that it is styled like the first book with the buttons and panda images. My only wish is that this book would have traditional chinese characters with phonetic as well. I want my LO to learn both.

> 3 dayOur granddaughter listens/reads this over and over. It is very well done. I’m not a Mandarin speaker so I can’t speak to the quality of the language but it is certainly successful in engaging a young child and interesting her in learning Mandarin.

> 3 dayWe just purchased both of the Bao Bao learns chinese books and my kids LOVE them! My 8 year old daughter (who is learning Mandarin in school) immediately gravitated to them. And my 3 year old son is enjoying them too. Highly recommend!
