> 3 dayTired of those skinny ferro rods that break after a few strikes? This one is awesome. Made a few fires with it already and it shows almost know sign of wear. I use the back of my pocket knife and it sends a huge shower of sparks every time! The attached striker is handy though and works very well. Prepare your dry pile correctly and you should be able to get a flame in just one or two strikes!

> 3 dayNot being a survivalists, but thought this might be cool to have, I bought it. It came with no direction, nothing. Just a little box. I had to google how to use it. You need to have a piece of steel handy to strike against it. Who knew? Anyway, I took a kitchen butter knife, and a napkin. I did catch it on fire, after 4 minutes of rubbing the flint. So, ya it works.

21-11-2024Works pretty good and sturdy and able to have in my SHYF bag or out on the trail this coming winter while hunting or camping. Love that it has a paracord on it so if I get in a predicament n need rope/line it is handy.
