> 3 dayA little pricey but well worth it to me! The use of paracord is an excellent idea but more important to me is the LARGE ferro rod itself. Easy to use with hands well into their 6th decade and makes teaching the youngsters a breeze. No doubt this will serve me well for many seasons to come.

> 3 dayThis ferro rod is the perfect size. Not one of those miniature ones, but not too heavy. Once you scrape the black coating off, it puts our great spark.

> 3 dayThis thing is big, but not in a bad way. You are lighting a LOT of fires if you ever use this up. Still going to fit anywhere you want. Not sure of the amount of paracord in the lanyard, but quite a bit. Never seen it specified. My only question is will the striker live as long as the stick.?.?

> 3 dayGood thickness will last a while. Good length easy to get the sparks youd need with a single easy stroke. Paracord tethered handle loop is nice (good length) and cauterized, so it wont unravel. The striker comes looped to the paracord loop and is a decent length with good sharp angled edges. Well made product.
