With two muddy dogs and two muddy grandsons, this Bissell gets a workout on my LVP floors, leaving them clean with no streaks. On the ceramic tile in the bathroom, I am able to sanitize even the small space around the toilet. The entry rug had not been cleaned besides vacuuming for two years, and this Bissell got it light and bright. It even picks up dog hair without me having to vacuum ahead of time, which my mop or Swiffer wasn’t able to do. I wish the instruction manual was a little more in depth about the self-cleaning function, but I got the hang of it soon enough. Eliminating the step of vacuuming before mopping makes this Bissell a winner!

Pros: steam works great, suction on smooth tile and textured left almost no water in first wipe. Self cleaning on its own dock, cleaned entire base and roller impressively! Cons: it is loud and heavy piece of equipment. Dirty water tank is a third the size of the clean water. Stopping to dump tank, is irritating. Overall, I really like the Bissell! Its a steam mop, light duty vacuum, and a scrubber all in one! Its understandable its heavy.. but way heavier than I expected.

We love our new BISSELL HydroSteam! Such a versatile machine. Great for everything.. especially our hardwood floors throughout the house. The wet vac also made it easy to clean the bathroom tile floors. Just a couple carpets in our place and it did an amazing job cleaning quickly without pretreatment. The steam and wash features make cleaning up pet messes easy. The vacuum had great suction throughout the whole process. It comes with a sample bottle of multi-floor cleaner and two other sample cleaners - one for the vacuum and one for hardwood floors. It is easy to set up and break down. Highly recommended for people with pets or kids or any other humans.

Cleans good for the most part. *6.5/10 The cleaning afterwards part I did not like. Looks simple on user manual but if you dont have a utility sink its difficult to clean out the dirty container . Im not about to put the dirty water and debris down my kitchen sink... had dump out down toilet and rinse out in my bathroom sink and letsjust say it did not go well. And cleaning all the nooks&cranies afterward with toothbrush is a litte Tedious.*2/10 Also there was an issue with the self cleaning mode and customer service handling the situation. The first time spent about 1.5 hrs on chat going in circles with rep being super snarky. Then got disconnected but then other rep was helpful but was on the chat for another 1.5 hrs.. *3/10 ..For $300+ idk if it was worth it.

Having used many other vacuums, I can say this vacuum is one of the best. The multi-purpose function is so nice and the entire thing itself is very compact making it easy to use and maneuver. The amount of dirt and grime that comes out of the water tank after a session makes me realize how l much we needed this vacuum. While we don’t have pets yet, it does a number on all the hair I leave behind as well which is a huge bonus AND it doesn’t get stuck on the brush roll like other vacuums. Very easy cleanup as well!

If your floor is dirty because the idea of breaking out the mop is a back breaking job then your not alone. I know myself I personally slack cleaning floors just because it can be a back breaker. I knew I needed a powered wet mop for a long time, and so enters the BISSELL. Out of the box it was a snap to get it going, of course I saw a few YouTube’s and read the instruction from cover to cover cause I’m a instructions nerd. I was ready to test this flag ship. It claims to clean, add steam for that hard to clean spots that you have to mop over like 1000 times until it is clean. So I assembled, read (as noted), and had the whole house at my disposal. I tested on hardwood, ceramic, porcelain, and laminate. I filled the water canister with required water and chemicals (included), and off I went. To be fair the pictures I included was one of 2 times I emptied the waste water. On all the wood I used the floor mode, using 50% trigger squeeze (drops water/chemicals to roller), and it cleanup up nice. I did not need to keep the trigger down all the time as that would release too much water. I did see a few tough spots, so I changed the mode to STEAM, and did a few passes on that mode and it did come clean. On the porcelain, and laminate, I kept the steamer mode on just to see the results. All in all it picked up all the dirt, cleaned the surface, and dried fast and did not leave film. So far all went well, I used the self clean mode, took apart the pieces, cleaned them out and left out to dry. So what is the bad? The water/chemical did go fairly quick and me only using 50% trigger pulls. Dont get me wrong, it went fine, I could see how I will need to buy the cleaning chemicals more often, and that is fine. When its time to clean, just do it right. Next issue is grout. No you do not need to worry about your grout because it will not touch it. Meaning it is a SURFACE cleaner, not a deep cleaner. My grout had dirt pieces in there after I was done because the roller does not get to it. So my suggestion is, vacuum before you wet mop to clean out the grout, and add to your calendar another day to get on your knees to clean that out. Would I recommend, oh yes, having this I will clean the floors more often, as it did a good job.

We have a tiled room that is hone to 2 large dogs that shed a lot. Usually I would start with a brtomn and then vacuum and finish by mopping the entire foot twice. Pretty exhausting for an old guy. One pass with the cross wave hydro steam did a thorough job on the floor. It’s much easier than pushing a mop. Cleanup mode makes clean up much easier. I’m very pleased with the results. I rarely pass out a 5 in reviews but this is a great machine.

Im sending it back. It made my floors dirtier than when I started. And it oversaturates the floor.
