> 3 dayI have only used it once, but I am so happy. After a recent remodel and all hard flooring I was so tired of sweeping and mopping, I felt everything was always covered in dust. The water was so dirty after the first pass. The water trap for dirt reminds me of my mom’s old rainbow vacuum. No horribly dusty bins to dump after vacuuming. I am loving it so far. Providing it continues to do what it has done, I will continue loving it. Our floors have light traffic, so mostly dust no really bad messes yet.

Greater than one weekI have a regular mop, a steam mop, swifters and a number of different tools to clean my floors. I have 3 very large dogs and kids and the kids friends. We have a semi grassy back yard due to the dogs and we also have a pool. So between the kids and the kids friends, the pool water and the dogs my light colored barn wood (vinyl) floors look pretty filthy. You get tired is mopping and steam mopping only to have them look like you didn’t touch them 24 hours later. I ran across on an ad on social media and I was like hmmm….kinda skeptical it could clean that good. So I ordered it with the thought if it doesn’t work, it’s a pain to clean or it’s way hyped I’ll send it back. It’s not a cheap thing but if it saves my sanity it will be worth every dime. So it came the other day. Just happened to be raining. Put two and two together dogs + rain = lots of muddy paw prints. Even when I can catch them all and wipe paws there is still enough wet on this big paws to create muddy paw prints. We sat down and unboxed the unit. Assembled it- really super easy. Not much to assemble. Now here’s the tricky part…..READ THE DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT!! I know tough stuff. It’s pretty simple. So my daughter insists to use it first because all to often it winds up being one of her chores. And let’s face it any teenager is looking for a way to cut down chore time and get it done good so mom doesn’t make her do it again. 20 minutes later she is done. And I was like…..no way. We have a very large kitchen and dining area. This usually takes a good hour. I walk in to see my floors like clean. I mean really clean. No puddled water, no smears of dirty water. Just fresh smelling clean, I mean actually clean floors. Oh it also does area rugs as well. So for me it does a great job -‘d is a huge time saver. Win-win!! Bissell knocked it out of the park on this one.

> 3 dayI have two young boys, and they seem to leave more food on the floor around the kitchen table than they actually make into their mouths! Sweeping up gets all the big pieces, but I am always left having to get out the mop to clean the dried ketchup, chocolate milk, juice, yogurt, and other messes they leave. I hate mopping, so this means messes usually end up accumulating over time because who has time to sweep and mop every day after dinner? I did one round with this bad boy, and I was slightly disturbed by what came out when I emptied the dirty water tank. The floors actually looked relatively clean beforehand, but there was a ton of unseen dust and grime that got picked up. It is super easy to put together and use, took me less than 5 minutes from opening the box to starting my first clean, and it was surprisingly quiet. Worth every penny to finally be able to throw the mop out!

> 3 dayTo be as brief as possible this is a cool machine in theory but it does not save any time nor does it do a comparable job to a steam mop if that’s what you’re looking for. I cleaned our large kitchen and two bathrooms today. I had the robot vacuum clean the kitchen and one of the bathrooms this morning understanding that in theory I did not need to, but expecting it probably wouldn’t hurt to make a first pass in those areas as we have a couple of dogs. It did a nice job grabbing the debris the robot had missed. And the mopping seemed okay too. I used the enclosed cleaner solution for the hard surface sanitize the first run but just used plain water after that as I didn’t love the residual cloudiness on the floor - and I ended up going back over everything with just plain water that I had already covered with the cleaning solution for this reason. Which honestly wasn’t a big deal because the dirty water tank fills up so quickly! Annoyingly quick. It is no where close to accommodating the large fill from the clean water tank. I didn’t count but I had to stop and empty the tank/refill at least 6 or 7 times between the three rooms. The steam it emits is not significant, but it does do a good job of sucking the water back up. The floor dried quickly. But it is LOUD So loud. In our main bathroom, where I did not run the vacuum prior, it did an excellent job grabbing all of the hair that I inexplicably lose every day while somehow still not going bald. And then when you’re all done, you have to do the self clean cycle (which is honestly pretty impressive and did actually clean the beater bar nearly completely in one cycle). And then clean out the dirty tank, the filter and dissemble the brush roll to try and wipe out the self cleaning tray if you do it to fidelity. Then I guess sometime tomorrow when everything is dry I’ll put it back together… I can’t see using this with any regularity. The tank is so small and the process to use it because of this plus the clean out process…. I could have used my upright vacuum + shark steam mop with a lot of steam (refilling the tank maybe 2x) in probably half the time. And then just thrown the mop pad in the wash and moved on with my day.

> 3 dayTHis product is an amazing addition for my pet household! It is the perfect addition to my other Bissell products (Little Green & CleanView vacuum) as it is a product that can also scrub, mop and steam hardwood floors with hardly any effort. The different modes make cleaning all sorts of messes super easily. I was shocked at how easy to use it was--essentially you can remove from the packaging and immediately start using the Crosswave HydroSteam with very minimal direction, and I am happy i did not have to spend a lot of time with assembly. Since I recieved it, my floors are always clean and smell amazing--I even got compliments from a guest on how fresh my apartment smelled! A great purchase!

> 3 dayUnlike similar floor cleaners, this cleaner has a steam feature. It shoots out a great amount of steam, scrubs the floor, and sucks up the water thoroughly. Of course it vacuums as well. But, I’m a bit old fashioned and pre-vacuum my floor first. The other advantage of the steam feature is there are no streaks. FYI, I put a small amount of Murphy’s oil soap in the clean water reservoir (this might void my warranty).

> 3 dayAfter using this multi-purpose vac for a month heres my honest review. Pros- The vacuum part works great. It does seem to suck up every dog hair and piece of dirt. After using the dirty tank does always have really gross water & crud. So it does seem like its picking up a lot of goop. Cons- The mopping part isnt great. I just dont feel like it cleans the floors as well a standard mop or steam mop does. It also often leaves streaks and you really have to go slow to get the floors clean. I also hate that it forces you to buy their solution which isnt cheap. I had to buy additional brush rollers because you really cant use one brush for the whole house. You also have to wash brush after each use. Along with washing the brushes you have to wash out the dirty tank every use. Its also not the easiest to carry from room to room. It is very loud which doesnt bother me but I could see that being an issue if you have small kids & want to clean while theyre napping. All in all I just dont feel like this vacuum is worth the hefty price. I dont feel like it saves me any time or is any easier than using my standard vacuum to pick up the dirt and then mopping the floors with a good mop & cleaner of your choice. Also hate that now I have to buy not only the recommended cleaner but the cleaner you have to use to clean the brush rollers.

> 3 dayNothing gets my floors cleaner. I was hesitant to buy this because so many reviews talked about a smell or that it stopped working. You have to clean it after every use, it’s worth it, but takes about 10 minutes to properly complete. That will keep it working and prevent the smells they talk about. You have to buy the cleaning products and I buy the brush cleaner for the cleaning cycle but if you understand this up front, there are no surprises. It’s a fantastic deep cleaning tool that’s as easy as vacuuming. The first few times I cleaned what I thought were clean floors, the water was almost black. I don’t know how anyone has kids or a dog without it!
