> 3 dayWorks as advertised. It cleans our tile floors without using any cleaning solutions - just the steam. We also use to clean the built up soap scum in the cultured marble shower stall. Its easy to see why Consumer Reports gave it a good rating.

22-11-2024When I had my grubby living room carpet replaced with tile I looked into ways to keep it (and my existing dining room /kitchen floor) clean. Must suggestions pointed to a steam mop. There are lots and lots of choices out there. I settled on this Bissel unit because it came with lots of tools (e.g., for grout, and countertops) and options. You can clean lots of surfaces with it . . . just not paint, please! It comes with a mount that lets you hang the mop and accessories on a wall. A little velcro straps lets you neatly coil the very long AC power cord. The terrycloth like mop heads get grubby quickly. I ordered the unit along with a set of OEM cloth mop heads. This lets you do a big job without having to pause to wash the mop heads. My one caveat: The unit seems fragile. The water tank is clear plastic; dropping the mop could easily shatter it.

> 3 dayI bought this steam mop after a friend told me how wonderful is a steam mop. I choose Bissell because it is a a well-known brand, and it is easy to get some replacement part. You can clean you entire house only with steam. It is very easy to use. Distilled water only. The cord is long enough that you dont need to change the plug to often. I clean my oven rack, and now it is sparkling. I didnt have to scrub too much. Highly recommend if you want to be ecologic.

> 3 dayOverall, this steam mop does a pretty good job at cleaning and the grout tool has been a god send, especially for all the gross pink mold and soap scum in my shower. It is super easy to assemble and to use but there are a few quirks.... 1. You have to constantly press the steam button while cleaning which can make it awkward because the handle is a little heavy and bulky. (I got some hand cramps while using this!) It also loses steam for a few seconds every minute or so and needs to constantly catch itself back up on the steam so doing stuff in one pass is not always possible. 2. I absolutely HATE the cord situation. There is nowhere to wrap the cord onto the mop handle itself when you are done. It comes with velcro so you can wrap the cord around itself but that is all. This leads to some major kinkage over time unless you are skilled with cord wrapping...which I am not. Overall, all of the accessories are super convenient for multiple jobs and it gets the job done. I do think there could be some improvements with the steam control and consistency, the weight of the actual steam attachment and making the cord more user friendly. I am happy with this steam mop for now but will likely try something different when this mop no longer works.

> 3 dayThis steam mop has been an excellent purchase! I wish I had bought one sooner. My floors feel so much cleaner after washing them with this mop. I usually spray the floor with some cleaner and let it soak in, then steam mop and done! Smells great and dries so fast! I only wish I had got a cordless model, sometimes dealing with the cord is annoying but that’s on me. The mop itself is great. I’ve used the attachments to steam off stuck on food on my childs high chair which wouldn’t come off with just a sponge. I love how it has so many cleaning attachments. I’ve steamed my shower walls, sinks, stove top, and scrubbed the grout. etc and it cleans so well. Great product.

> 3 dayMy days of scrubbing the floor on my hands and knees are over, but I always felt standing did not do as good of a job. This little machine puts that to rest. I love it. It does a great job on my floors, get up dried dog slobber and cleaned in between the tiles of my floor extremely well. Some reviewers felt that it was hard to hold the switch down while cleaning. That was not a problem for me and I have a bit of hand arthritis. I do wish the handle were a bit longer, though. I am 5’6” and have to bend to use the scrubber. That becomes not too bad when I consider all the toxic cleaning solution fumes I am not breathing while using this.

> 3 dayAt this day and age you would think they’d be better at steam production. A trigger lock would have been great too. When you have the extension pole in place to use as mop steam takes a while to get through the mop pad to start cleaning. Also the attachment point of the pole to the main unit needs to be stronger.

> 3 dayIt does not steam clean floors very well as a mop. The steam never reaches the floor. Get something else if you want to actually clean the floors.

> 3 dayThis is a great steam mop for my hardwood and tile floors. Its the best solution Ive found for cleaning thoroughly and quickly. I find the steam mop with handle and the most beneficial and easy to use. I have found that having a new cleaning pad for every room or two leaves the floors cleaner and shiner looking. The handheld steamer is a bit heavy and sometimes awkward to use with the smaller attachments. It has to be held a certain way for the steam to work, or course. So those tight areas can be difficult to reach. Ive cleaned my showers successfully with the smaller pad attachments. The other attachments Ive not found a great use for them yet. Some reviewers disliked the long cord. I thought the long cord was great, especially since Im using it mostly has as steam mop. All in all, Im very satisfied!
