> 3 dayI like that it was EASY to put together, and EASY to use. The weight is in the handle, since that is where the water is and all the mechanics...the problem is that you cannot put pressure in the long metal hose. That being said, you are lightly cleaning or moping up on the floor. If you want to put pressure in scrubbing the, you may still need to mop. I gave it four stars for weight. It may be too heavy for the old. and long periods of cleaning. It is great for sanitizing, but I would say it is not better than pressure cleaning from the good old hands and arms if you still have it in you to give a good scrub.

Greater than one weekWorks as advertised. It cleans our tile floors without using any cleaning solutions - just the steam. We also use to clean the built up soap scum in the cultured marble shower stall. Its easy to see why Consumer Reports gave it a good rating.

> 3 dayGot this for my wife as a present. She was overjoyed. If she hadnt been I would have given it just one star. She used it a handful of times over a period of a couple of years. She liked what she used it for which was mostly moping tile, that is, until it stopped working and it became my problem. Exactly what you can expect of most consumer electronics these days. A quick look indicated that it was not getting water. A slightly deeper look showed that it was not an immediately resolvable issue. Of course, out of warranty; time to break out the screwdriver. Not easy to open but once I got it open (not for the lighthearted) and ran some tests they all pointed to the water pump. Took it apart and tinkered with it. After reassembly it was working. It worked for a few minutes before the pump bound up again. It is now in the gathering-dust-in-the-corner phase of its lifecycle. My recommendation: if you know you are going to be using this frequently you might get your moneys worth. Otherwise, at least in my experience, it would be more cost effective to just buy a mop.

> 3 dayLove this so much better than the steamer everyone’s been getting because you can steam mop and clean around the house with the hand held attachments. 1 down fall is having to hold the button down the whole time because how heavy it is.

Greater than one weekWhen I had my grubby living room carpet replaced with tile I looked into ways to keep it (and my existing dining room /kitchen floor) clean. Must suggestions pointed to a steam mop. There are lots and lots of choices out there. I settled on this Bissel unit because it came with lots of tools (e.g., for grout, and countertops) and options. You can clean lots of surfaces with it . . . just not paint, please! It comes with a mount that lets you hang the mop and accessories on a wall. A little velcro straps lets you neatly coil the very long AC power cord. The terrycloth like mop heads get grubby quickly. I ordered the unit along with a set of OEM cloth mop heads. This lets you do a big job without having to pause to wash the mop heads. My one caveat: The unit seems fragile. The water tank is clear plastic; dropping the mop could easily shatter it.

Greater than one weekI had used a Clorox Clean-up and a Swiffer mop over the years. This is a huge upgrade! It uses just distilled water, as opposed to harsh (and expensive) cleaning solutions. It heats up quickly so its ready to use almost immediately after plugging it in, and the floors dry quickly after steam-mopping. As others have said, you do have to hold down the steam button during operation, but this isnt generally a big deal, unless you using it for an extended period of time. I love most of the attachments, and the two mop covers. The only attachment Im not pleased with is the grout cleaner. It does a wonderful job, but the bristles bend and collapse into something almost unusable after the first use. Id appreciate an easy way to order replacements for just that tool - not the whole set - as its almost a disposable tool if you can only use it once. I have a LOT of tile in my house, and Id probably buy replacements frequently.

> 3 dayI love using this instead of having to make a bucket of soapy water for my tile and laminate floors. I have a dog that has anxiety during thunderstorms or just hard rain. Occasionally, he will express his anxiety by urinating in my house (frustrating, but I would never consider parting with my rescue dog). This steam mop cleans up everything very well and I have put more than one pad in the washing machine with great success. I will never go back to a regular mop.

> 3 dayWow!! I purchased this because of the good reviews and I am not disappointed. I have used the grout tool as well as the standard floor attachment. The various attachments are SO. Easy. To attach and most of them can be stored right on the device itself in an attachment trey thing. Really loving this so far! It would be even more awesome if we could use essential oils as well but I am not sure if the plastic is rated for oils. It’s self explanatory, easy to use. I love that it comes with a wall mount to store it. Only holds 2 cups of water at a time so prepare to refill frequently. It’s worth it.
