16-11-2024I am 73 and my sweet wife is 70. I did not want her to get down on her hands and knees to clean our tile floors. I had her do some research because our church uses a steamer for cleaning tile in the bathrooms. This is the one that she picked, and it is very well designed. We bought extra mop heads since that is a wear item, and purchased two bottles of the recommended solution. Since it is based on eucalyptus oil and some other oil, it has a light fresh scent when she has steamed the floors. BISSELL knows how to design and build quality products that really do a great job!

> 3 dayDid almost everything Id hope it would! Did a great job of cleaning the grout. I used small concentrating tool and the the stream powered in and the built up dirt washed out, so I could just wipe it away. I believe I can now maintain the clean by just using the regular floor tool. Faucets and stainless steel appliances looked like new. You dont realize how much of those spray and wipe products build up until you power it all off and see a real shine. Tile backslash in the kitchen came back to life. Also used to to remove soot that built up on the logs outside because the grill was too close. No product worked at all. BTW floors are more beautiful than ever, and I had used a different steam machine for years that finally died. Steamed the hinging curtains and they look so much better! It is light weight, has lots of tools to try out for different jobs. It did take some time to clean out build up pin grout as I mentioned and some areas, but now that they have been de-gunked, it should be easy to maintain the clean. Love it! It does get hot so read the cautions... I cleaned for hours, on less then 1 gallon of distilled water btw, and came out unscathed.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a heavier, older vacuum cleaner. After an illness which has weakened me, I have had to replace heavy items with light ones and this is definitely lighter than most vacuum cleaners. However, whereas my old vacuum cleaner needed to strength to lift it and to push it along, this one needs strength to stop it pulling you along. It really pulls itself forward on carpet. It does a good job of sucking up grunge from the carpet. I like that one can see exactly what has been sucked up in the clear plastic dust canister. You do have to be vigilant about noticing the canister it is getting more than half full or if the suction is getting blocked by something the machine sucked up. An easy way to tell is that the sound of the motor changes when it is straining against a blockage. Very easy to empty the canister into the trash and to clear the suction nozzle. I’m happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayLove it. Its really not difficult to use and If you are living in an apartment you will find a great deal of uses for this steamer. Gets into small spaces. Has plenty of utensils for odd jobs. I had to look far and wide for this model it seems they are not making them much anymore. Pity because this is a fabulous product and I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayI bought this steam cleaner/mop because I was completely over mopping my floors and wanted to try and get the stains off my floor. This was the best thing and has many many uses. The plastic piece in the back did break off in my closet but we weren’t the most gentle with it.

> 3 dayI had used a Clorox Clean-up and a Swiffer mop over the years. This is a huge upgrade! It uses just distilled water, as opposed to harsh (and expensive) cleaning solutions. It heats up quickly so its ready to use almost immediately after plugging it in, and the floors dry quickly after steam-mopping. As others have said, you do have to hold down the steam button during operation, but this isnt generally a big deal, unless you using it for an extended period of time. I love most of the attachments, and the two mop covers. The only attachment Im not pleased with is the grout cleaner. It does a wonderful job, but the bristles bend and collapse into something almost unusable after the first use. Id appreciate an easy way to order replacements for just that tool - not the whole set - as its almost a disposable tool if you can only use it once. I have a LOT of tile in my house, and Id probably buy replacements frequently.

> 3 dayWorked well, only problem was trying to keep a good grip on the trigger, let up at all and it stops.

> 3 dayI love it! It cleans flat surfaces beautifully, floors, counters. It’s not quite enough for sticky glued on spots but it helps. A little heavy but worth the effort to get things so nice and clean.
