BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus, 3588F, Upright Deep Cleaner

Upright BISSELL Carper Cleaner CLEANED and REVITALIZED our 20 year old carpet. We’ve rented the BIG GREEN MACHINE many times, this model worked JUST AS WELL, much lighter, easy to maneuver and gets the job done with ease. Be sure to read the instructions as well as examine the images in the instructions, which lack pertinent detail. I downloaded the informational pdf documents from the BISSELL website for our newly purchased model. These helped. We were so impressed with the performance of this machine, we’ve ordered additional accessories from BISSELL. This machine will have paid for itself after just TWO uses, compared to commercial cleaning and SIX rentals of the BIG Green Machine from the local big box Home Improvements store. Product works very well to pull dirt out of the rugs. For stubborn or old pet stains you may have to work at it more than once to get the stain out or faded. But it does the job.

Bought this to replace an older model. The new model cleans the carpets real good and they improved the rollers so that it no longer leaves those clumps of wet pet hair all over the floor. It used to be a real pain to have to go around and sweep up the clumps after cleaning the floors. This cleaner is worth the cost an I think it has been improved for the better. The ability to take it apart to clean it is really appreciated and very simple. I was ready to ditch Bissell and now Im glad I gave them 1 more shot at it. Good buy and cleans very well. I have two dogs and a toddler. I have tried lots of things to clean my rugs and have finally found a good product to clean my house! This is one rug and not even the whole thing!

This definitely cleans better than the Hoover spin scrub I have had for 10 years but the suction on the Hoover is better. I will clean the carpet with the Bissel first and than go over it with the Hoover to remove the residual water. I hate the small amount of dirty water it can take before having to pour it out. With my Hoover I can use up the entire gallon of clean water before the dirty water needs removing. For this I give it a 1 star. It is ridiculous. Why have such a large container if you can only remove a small amount of water from the carpet. Is it worth $300? Dont know but it gets the stains out. UPDATE: I was about to return the machine because I was tired of emptying the dirty water 5 or 6 times/room but I decided to keep it because it got a stain out that nothing else did. There was a yellow spot on the carpet for many years. I think it soaked all the way to the bottom of the carpet. I tried many kinds of stain removers, went over it with the Hoover dozens of times over the years but, the stain remained. Yesterday I went over it with the Bissel with just hot water and to my astonishment the stain came out. The brushes must have dug deep into the carpet to extract the stain. I am amazed so I am keeping it and will put up with the irritating negatives about the machine.

The web site mentions that the product comes with samples of cleaning supplies. THIS IS FALSE. The package contains a coupon for $25off for online purchases; HOWEVER THE COUPON CODE DOES NOT WORK. Suggestion: If you want to buy this product find a package that does not include supplies and it is cheaper, as you won’t get the supplies no matter what the web site says here.

We had an old Bissell that finally died. This cleaner is lightweight and very effective. Im very happy that I made the switch.

Review in progress… Received yesterday. March 7, 2023. Was planning to buy another very large room rug - thought current one would not be salvageable. (While grocery shopping, our little dog got sick, I scrubbed the stains repeatedly..) Took a chance, bought the Bissell. Very pleased. Rug looks amazing. Stains gone that I had otherwise been unable to clean. Took some time to figure it out. BUT, it was well worth it. Keeping the rug & carpet cleaner. Based on another review, Going to dry out the Bissell before storing. Will update after I’ve used it on a couple more areas. So far…. Pros: Metal handle Easy fill with marks on clean tank for water & shampoo Easy to empty the dirty tank Easy release to clean it up after use Netted Storage bag for tools Easy to hook tools to cleaner Obviously, best pro - it worked! Cons: Fairly heavy Had to learn to press the trigger for cleaning fluid release - but then need to release the trigger & run cleaner over the area a few times to remove excess solution. I have large rugs not carpet. Had to dry flooring along the edges of rug after cleaning. Not a fan (yet) of the furniture tools. I found difficult to evenly spread cleaner. Did 1/2 cushion & quit. I’m going to research how to use it& try again later. Have a couple other things that I don’t love, plan to look further & see if it’s an operator error vs design flaw. Disclaimer: I have no stairs to clean. Did not try to do the whole house at one time.

I first bought the older model (orange color) because it was considerably cheaper and the reviews as far as cleaning were comparable. However, I ended up returning it because it’s so hard to actually clean the head as it’s not easily detachable. I bought it because I have pets and as a result I get a lot of hair and I have to clean up the head and rolls after every use. The presoak feature is nice as it seems to make a difference. If you have pets it’s totally worth it. Our puppy is now mostly house broken but I still see the value of the machine. I can’t believe I didn’t have one before!
