BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus, 3588F, Upright Deep Cleaner

I bought this one cleaned it all the time. It broke 3 weeks later. Now I have the bissel pro heat and it seems much better but I noticed in small writing that you have to change the belts around every 3 months.

Easy to assemble, does leave the carpet pretty wet but it did dry in a few hours. Havent tried the stair tools yet, so hence the 3 star rating. At first it looked like the brushes were not spinning but closer inspection revealed they were, just hard to tell. I had a lot of old pet stains that I presoaked with Folex carpet spot cleaner before I even started. I did a large hallway and open area from living room/Dining room area in a couple hours. As other people have said, you do have to empty and re-fill quite often. This model was easy to clean up afterwards because the snap cover over brushes easily removes. Best way to do this is unplug it and put it in the bath tub. See Utube videos Time will tell. I hope it holds up. The carpet did clean up nicely and 90% of stains removed. It actually worked better than the professional I hired and paid 240.00 to about 6 months ago. So.... In my mind, this machines going to pay for itself after a few uses !

The first time using this product I read and followed all the instructions. At first, it wouldn’t spray water out (even though I held down the trigger for 10 seconds like the instructions said). I finally got it to spray and the machine worked as expected for about 10 passes. Then it wouldn’t spray or suction. At one point as I tried to trouble-shoot the problem, I took out the dirty water tank and it spilled all over the portion of the floor I had just cleaned (it was in an upright position when it “spilled”). Now I can’t even clean/suction up the dirty water tank mess because the machine isn’t cleaning or suctioning. Very frustrating! I have owned and used several Bissel carpet cleaners and they always break down sooner or later; I did expect this would work for a year or two, at least.

My carpet had stains everywhere from potty training my puppy and had a horrible smell. This carpet cleaner and the soap took care of every stain and got rid of the smell completely. Its amazing easy to use and its quick on cleaning.

This Bissell does a great job cleaning my beige carpet! It even cleans stains out. Using the max clean option leaves my carpet dry in 4 to 6 hours. I highly recommend this carpet scrubber.

Listen. My husband and I are both 26 years old, and the fact that I am writing a customer review for a cleaning product makes me want to kiss my youth goodbye. But this carpet cleaner was SO WORTH IT. There were stains in my carpet that have been there since we potty trained our puppy 3 years ago that were gone in 2 swipes of this thing. The color of the water I was dumping out of the tank was both satisfying and horrifying. If I had any complaints its that sometimes the tank fills up really quickly because of the bubbles and I have to stop to empty it more than I would like to. But thats it. Definitely works and would recommend to anyone with plenty of pet related stains!

This vacuum had some pretty great reviews - so I went with my gut and gave it a try. I have purchased many Bissell products and statistically they do only last about 1 year; which really is kind of pricey. I can pay for a professional once a year and not have to do it myself for that. However, that is not my main concern. I read all manufacturer information, even contacted Bissell, who stated that this vacuum should have no issues with my type of carpet. Which is a low-medium standard textured twisted pile. It is pretty common in most homes. I just received this yesterday and I unbxed it today and used it for the first time. It seemed great at first. Then it stopped sucking up water. So I followed the instructions and cleaned it thoroughly only to find that the reason it stopped was because it was literally mowing down my carpet and it was causing giant wet clumps of my carpet to be lodged. I completely disassembled it and cleaned it all thoroughly per the isntructions and tried again. Same outcome. I then decided to see if the handheld tool would work any better. While the took does work, the bottom piece still is rotating the bristles and sucking. So, when I was done with the tool and moved the vacuum it had cleared out a strip of my carpet because it doesnt shut down when you use the tools! Now some may see this has a good thing in that it has strong suction - which is true. However, I have had other steam cleaners that did not strip up my carpet in this fashion and still had suction. So I am not entirely confident that this isnt a defect? My carpet isnt brand new and it is not Berber. It is of medium age for a home, I routinely vacuum every other day, and it is just basic pile. I think I am done with Bissell at this point. Especially after contacting customer service who is less than helpful... So disappointing!

Should include some kind of silicone mat to store it on!

Bought this to replace an older model. The new model cleans the carpets real good and they improved the rollers so that it no longer leaves those clumps of wet pet hair all over the floor. It used to be a real pain to have to go around and sweep up the clumps after cleaning the floors. This cleaner is worth the cost an I think it has been improved for the better. The ability to take it apart to clean it is really appreciated and very simple. I was ready to ditch Bissell and now Im glad I gave them 1 more shot at it. Good buy and cleans very well. Satisfied with the purchase 100%

Worth every penny. Kicking myself I didn’t take before and after pictures. Easy to use, easy to clean, everything comes apart so no more gross hair stuck in the machine.
