24-11-2024We had another Bissell carpet shampooer and it looked brand new but wasn’t sucking up water very well and it also had issues with dispersing the cleaning solution. I looked on You Tube for ideas and came across how to add a screw on the base of it where the screw would go up into the bottom portion of the tank’s bottom in order to allow the solution to be dispersed. That problem got fixed but it never sucked up correctly so it is going to Goodwill! I shampooed our bedroom carpeting and it got out so much dirt! It really did a great job of cleaning! I just hope this one will last longer than the last one! I did register it with Bissell in case anything happens to go wrong with it.

> 3 dayCleans so well. Easy to use. Make top front part of vacuum heavier so more seal to vacuum.

> 3 dayVery happy to make carpet cleaning satisfying, instead of a crouching body workout with little green or brushes. This thing keeps the water hot, reaches deep, and is so easy to clean after the clean. My dog’s diarrhea is finally gone from the carpet! Wife even has a genius idea to have our kid clean carpets for neighbors for a fee!

> 3 dayI love the features that allow you to take the brush covers off and clean them. With pets this is important or after a while the machine just stinks!

> 3 dayMy only complaint is the float in the collection tank cuts off the use a few inches prior to the fill line. It’s been 3 years since we moved in and all rugs look new again. Better results then Stanley Steemer, who are used when we first bought the house.

> 3 dayI don’t often make big purchases like this. I’m still new to adulting and gathering essentials when I can. It was time to get a steam cleaner to take care of my carpets. This one I noticed was popular and I wanted something that will last me forever. So I talked myself into the investment. My mom has a vacuum and steam cleaner she’s used my whole life, and that was my goal for this one. I have a shedding cat, and I get some annoying allergies if I don’t get all her sheddings cleaned up, so that was another reason I looked into this one. I got the steam cleaner delivered fast. It was quick and easy to set up. My first problem occurred when I attached the hose you use the little attachment. It was clicked in and everything, the spray worked, but the brushes on the machine itself kept spinning even though I was using the attachment. I didn’t notice that at first. The brush didn’t have the best suction so I looked back at the machine and that’s when I noticed the brushes were spinning in place. It smelt like the belt was burning up and when I turned it off, my carpet was hot from it spinning in place. I rent my place so my stress levels were high realizing I could’ve caused some damage. I did research, watched many videos, and saw that no one else’s brushes were spinning when using the attachment. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, so I started over. I made sure the machine was latched upright and that the hose was clicked all the way in, and once again my brushes continued to spin. I gave up on the attachment and just used the machine to steam clean. It is SOOOOO loud, so loud lol. I have a dumb fear of machines and housing appliances, I always feel like they’re going to explode, probably got it from the internet not gonna lie. But the loudness of this machine has me on edge the whole time lol. I don’t even remember my moms old carpet cleaner being this loud. Well anyway. I reached out to Bissel support to get help with my hose attachment issue since this was a big investment for me. I did the live chat, it took forever in between replies, but if I wanted fast replies I could’ve called so I’m not complaining. At first the support person kept sending me a trouble shoot for if my brushes WEREN’T spinning but my problem was that they WERE spinning when using the attachment. They later sent that I’ll have to take it to a shop. I sent my location and they shared where I’ll need to go to get it fixed. The shop is a few hours away… I have toddler twins and we’re constantly busy. I’m 20 minutes from three big cities, how there’s not a shop in one of them I don’t know. I just feel defeated that I got a brand new cleaner I was hesitant to buy and have to take it to a shop right after unboxing it. Not a wonderful experience. I won’t be taking it to the shop and just won’t use the attachments.

> 3 dayI love this product it was great and I have all ready used it and it cleans supper good. I cleaned my couch with it and it got SO MUCH DURTY STUFF. The water came out brown it was disgusting, but that means it worked really well. You should definitely get this product.

> 3 dayPurchased this vacuum to replace an old bissel canister style vacuum because parts were no longer available for the discontinued model. This vacuum has excellent suction and is designed ingeniously for its purpose. Just have to empty the waste water frequently and refill the clean water + cleaner often if the job is large. Bissell seems to be an innovative company improving their products with each generation having owned many of their vacuums over the last 30 years.
