> 24 hourIve been looking for a filter that could relly reduce the amount of pollen and dust in the house. This filter seems to be doing the trick. I was surprised to see there has been no difficulty with the ventilations intake flow. I didnt want my fan unit to strain drawing air through the filter like it had using a Merv 9. This works great.

> 24 hourJust changed filters with these filters and contained a lot of dust, dirt and animal hair. They fit perfect with my furnace and slid right in with a tight seal. They held their shape and did not collapse like the cheap ones. The frame is sturdy.

> 24 hourThese are nice 20x20x1 filters. I tend to use Rheem and these are compatible with FPR 7 - pollen, dust, dust mites, mold, pet dander. Pretty standard size. Appear to be comparable air flow to the Rheem brand I typically use. I’ve been advised not to use too restrictive air filters, and these appear just fine. Pretty decent.

> 24 hourMy BNX air filters were easy to install, worked very well keeping my furnace and air conditioner filtered for cleaner air in my home. I would say for the price of these filters, they do as well or better than higher priced brands. My order came quickly, without any issues.

> 24 hourI always change air filters at least once a month so this is a nice, 10 month supply. Very well made and they do filter the air well since they are Merv 8.

> 24 hourThese filters look similar to the ones I used to buy at the big box stores. Installation was quick and easy, and operation seems as quiet or quieter than my old filters. I appreciate the fact that theyre made in the US, which helps justify the price. Theyre not the most expensive or the least expensive, but somewhere in the middle. I wanted a filter that didnt have the highest MERV rating. I was using Filtrete filters, but during an unrelated service call the tech said those filters are too thick for my old furnace motor to handle. She recommended a filter that doesnt filter so efficiently, and these filters are perfect for my use. Recommended.

> 24 hourI wanted to come up with some kind of objective way to evaluate these filters before writing this review, short of buying air quality testing equipment. So I weighed these (and the filters I normally use) before and after 90-day periods in my furnace. Two things became apparent over the past year of doing this: dust doesn’t weigh much, and there’s enough inconsistency in manufacturing that each filter needs to be weighed before (there seems to be as much as a 10-gram variance from one filter to the next). This is pretty much the same across all brands I’ve tried, so not a specific knock on this brand. I also took before and after pictures. I’m not going to attach the pictures because I am not sure they would accurately represent what I was able to see with my eyes. The camera brightness auto-adjust and varying ambient light between photos makes them appear to be different than observed, so I will just write about what I witnessed. The other brand of filters I normally use are also MERV 8. The result: These filters appear to capture less. They were visibly more white after 90 days than my other filters, and also there was not a noticeable change in weight. The one I tested started out at 134.12 grams and ended up at 134.21 grams (a difference of 0.09 grams). My original MERV 8 filters consistently collect more than 2 grams in the winter and as much as 4 grams in the summer (our doors and windows are open more often in the summer). This is just a simple observation. The weight could have other factors, like moisture content, gravitational anomalies, etc. that are not represented in this data. It very well might be that there is more going on here in these filters than I was able to see. But I wasn’t able to see it. The cost of these filters at the time of this writing are the same or more than competing brands at the same rating.

> 24 hourDefinitely can tell the difference between my normal heater filter and these. It is easier to breathe, and they actually need to be changed, as they catch more instead of everything just passing through.

> 24 hourThese air filters are true to size and fit my furnace/air conditioner unit very well. It is very easy to put them in and take out. They do a good job collecting dust and other particles and protecting the unit. I have a dog and need all help that I can get to keep my air clean, so I am glad that I got these filters. Per seller’s description they are manufactured using advanced technology. I’ve been using this brand for a while and never had any problems with my furnace/AC unit. I change filter every three months, so a pack of seven will go a long way. Definitely recommend.
