The higher the MERV rating, the smaller the particles that are filtered, but the more restricted the airflow. Because it’s possible to damage your HVAC, it’s important to know what your HVAC system can handle when choosing a filter. These MERV 8 filters are medium-quality filters capable of removing pollen, mold, and household dust at sizes of 1.0-3.0 microns at less than or equal to 20% and 3.0-10.0 microns at less than or equal to 70%. Most systems can typically handle MERV8 airflow. The single 20x25 MERV 8 FILTER I ordered arrived with what looked like a couple of knee indentations that flattened the wiring that supports the pleats. The outer box didn’t appear to be damaged, but when I kneeled on the empty box, it rebounded back into shape. It’s likely the damage happened in transit and I am just the unlucky recipient. Damage aside, the dimensions matched those of the previously installed name brand filter. The air filters have moderate electrostatic pleats reinforced with wire and cardboard supports. By appearance, the filters look capable of cleaning the return air adequately (photo shows filter with natural light behind). The supplier/Amazon might consider additional reinforcement when shipping a single filter.

We change our HVAC filters monthly. These filters work well. They filter out a lot of dust, pet hair, you name it. They fit in the holder well. They do not collapse, or even flex very much when the system is running.

Great filters for my ac. My unit uses 2 at a time so this should keep my air clean for a good while.

Im so happy I got these because theyve included so many in the pack! I havent been using them for that long, but feel as though they do work pretty well. I suffer from allergies so I have to change my air filter more frequently than most. This pack includes a bulk amount so I will not have to worry about purchasing more for at least a year.

Great filter at a fair price. I got sick of using the flimsy cheap ones that hardly filter anything and still somehow plug up after thirty days of use. These filters work quietly while doing what I feel is a great job at cleaning our air. We have two cats and a small dog as well as three human beings in our household and these seem up to the task. Still plan on changing out every thirty days (these say up to 90 days) but its nice to know I have some leeway if I forget (and I always do). Overall a solid filter and great value for someone who cares about reducing dust and allergies in their home.

BNX makes good filters in various sizes. This 16x20x1 fits us. For the price paid, you will get one MERV 8 filter. This is on the expensive $$ side of the spectrum. Ive seen better pricing for MERV11 from BNX, and I would definitely recommend you get those instead. But the filter is in perfect size, clean and clear out of the package. Installation is also fairly easy.

This is a set of two disposable filters. They arrived in good condition. I received the size that I ordered, and they fit my HVAC perfectly. I like that they are manufactured using advanced technology.

Good furnace replacement filters. Clean air. Make sure to change those furnace filters often! Great value for the amount of filters. Definitely recommend.

These are pretty good air filters. Comparing them next to the big name brand, I can see they arent quite as sturdy, but they are definitely good enough for the job. They fit fine in my system. Air flow seems good too. Overall they are a good value and I recommend them.
