When I ordered this package, I wasnt sure what to expect. We typically order 3M air filter from our local Lowes. This BNX air filter seems to be just as good if not better than the lower-end 3M air filters we have been buying. The cardboard frame of the BNX is better than the 3M we have. The filter itself seems very similar to our 3M version. Overall, I am pleased with what we received. It seems the BNX has a better value proposition than the name-brand 3M weve been buy.

One filter will last 90 days and then change out. Filters the air of pollution, pollen, allergens and other unhealthy air borne bacteria. Healthy breathing for a healthier life.

This air filter has a high quality construction. The pleats are uniform and there is a wire mesh to support them. I like that the edges of the filter are squared off. This design seems to better block the air from going around the filter unlike some filters cut at an angle. Its MERV 8 rating is equal to the PFR 5 rating found at your local home goods store, and they do seem to be very similar in their ability to trap particulates. MERV 8 and PFR 5 rated filters are a big step above the fiberglass filters.

I originally bought just one of these, but the noticeable improvement in air quality had me coming back for more, so I figured I might as well get a bulk savings while I was at it

The filters are as sturdy as any I have ever had. The cardboard surround and the re-inforcing crosshatch across the face of the filter seem to be just the right thickness and sturdiness. You dont really want to over build these - they only last 3 months and then its into the landfill. I was impressed that right on the label (that I took a close-up of) they show what MERV 8 means: traps dust, mold, pollen, pet dander, and dust mites. As the MERV number goes up, smaller and smaller particles get trapped. As some other reviewers have noted, the 20x20 size is often hard to find. So nice to just order what you need on Amazon. If you follow the recommended change every 3 months, you have a year and a half of filters in your order. They come in a heavy plastic bag. I made a slit in the top to remove them as needed - the bag will keep things together. I would have appreciated a box the exact size of the filters, just to give them a little protection while in storage in our basement. At the price at the time of this review of $40, the filters are $6.66 each which seems a fair price.

This is a good filter with and I appreciate the MERV 8 air filtration. It was a perfect fit for my return air grill and the price is reasonable for a 3 pack. Overall, it does a good job and I like the MERV 8 rating on this air filter.

Very happy with these BNX 14x25x1 air filters. They fit perfect for my HVAC system. What I noticed is that the filters are not super thick. I have been told the really thick filters make HVAC system work much harder. These filters are the medium thickness that I prefer and work quite well. The filters work great and keep the air clean.

Howdy folks! I was a little surprised to find these were manufactured just a bit south of where I live in Texas, so if you are looking for a USA made product; snag these up! The dimensions are correct and the filters feel well built. Honestly, per filter, these come out to be a better price than what I can get at a big box store. I think Ill be switching my preferred brand over to BNX!

These BNX 16x20x1 MERV 8 air filters are a good quality. And I do think the air quality in my house is better than when Ive used cheaper Merv 5 filters. I guess you cant put a price tag on better quality air, but they are a little pricey in my opinion. I really like that these are MADE IN USA too.

9 filters arrived a little bit crumpled, but that is not the sellers fault. Fit perfectly in my annoyingly sized unit in my condo. I can actually notice the difference in air quality after one day. Great product!
