This unit fit fine into the holder, with no obvious gaps or warping. It looks and feels robust and Ive no doubts it will survive at least a month without collapsing. The packaging says you should change your filters every three months, and I guess that might be true if you are a tidy person with no pets. I have teenagers and an aging cat, so Ill give this thing a month and no more!

As you can see on the pictures we were is need of a new filter (quite badly) and were happy to try this Electrostatic 20x20x1 MERV 8 air filter replacement. It fits our unit perfectly snug, just as if it was made for it. The electrostatic filtration technology that should allow for industry-leading superior air flow and low air resistance while maintaining the highest grade level of filtration is something that, honestly, we never heard before so we are true first time customers! 3 Days after here is what we observed. Our unit started working much quieter than it always worked before with the traditional filters (we have a 3 year old hybrid system, heat pump with electric back up). I was actually surprised that the claimed superior low air flow resistance with the highest grade level of filtration turned out to be true, at least what you can tell by listening to your 3 year old unit work. It seems to work much less now and move air much easier! This is the first time we tried this type of synthetic electrostatically charged air filter and are quite impressed! For the price, it is really not that much more expensive than the traditional filters in this filtration rating (or even less if you compare the big name stores). But it makes your system breath so much better which, of course, will reflect on the heating/cooling bill and the life of your unit! I think we are converted!

The metal mesh helps with the sturdiness of the filter. The filter fit perfectly in my heater and still has decent output flow. I like that in just 3.5 weeks, I see a noticeable change in filter color--getting dirty. I definitely recommend these filters!

Not much you can say about an air filter other than they fit and did the job without any issues. They came in a packed in a bag of 8 and were shipped in a box that protected them from any damage. I think the price is better than others I have purchased with the same MERV rating.

This BNX 14x20x1 MERV 8 Air Filter 4 Pack is a good value. These filters are good quality and get the job done. No complaints as I expected these to perform as well as they did for the cost. If youre looking for a good, basic, well made filter, these fit the bill.

These furnace filters are very well made. They are sturdy and have heavy duty filter screening in them. They are unlike the flimsy filters we have been using. Im certain they will cut down on a lot of the dust particles that blow out of our vents. We were also glad to find this particular size since its not always easy to find. We will definitely order these again in the future.

These filters work great for my system. I can’t really see a difference between the more expensive ones I bought at Lowe’s and these. Appears well constructed and picks up the majority of particles. I have noticed my house has not gotten as dusty since using these.

Peace of mind for the HVAC intake system, cleaner air is a necessity where we live and making sure we have high quality filters to help keep our family safe. These are better than the basic HVAC filters in store, with better design and technology to improve dust, allergen and mold trapping. Love that this set is also affordable and comes in a 3 pack, lasts us for 2-3 months as we change monthly or as needed.

Not much to say here, actually. I ordered the two-pack, 16x20 and got exactly what I ordered. They fit my AC exactly right. They seem to work well also. I have ordered filters from Amazon before and had them arrive mangled. These filters arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition. My only negative is the cost. I do not understand why furnace filters cost so much money when they are merely paper folded accordion fashion surrounded by a cardboard frame.
