The filters work great. They filter without causing undo stress on the blower motor. Because of the pleats, the filters have more capacity to trap stuff and still allow good air flow. Instead of changing them every month, I only replace when they are dirty enough to restrict air flow.

Not much to say, nice MERV 8 HVAC. Fits into the 20x20 recess and works fine as a replacement for the older filter.

I am impressed with these filters because they make the air quality in my home much better. I normally dont pay attention to how well a filter is doing but since this pollen season has lasted so long due to no rain the filters have done me justice when retreating to home for many hours at a time. When I walk into my home the air smells cleaner and fresher. When removing a used filter you can see how well the filters have done by all the build up of dust, pollen and whatever else they have trapped. I like them a lot.

6 16x20x1 for $40? Amazing! We struggle to find this size in the stores around us. When we do find one its usually about $40 for just two. These fit perfectly and were super easy to just pop into place. I would def recommend these and we will probably be coming back for more if they still have our size. Im really happy with the value for quality on these.

Had the opportunity to use these in the quarterly (ish) changeout of HVAC filters. Fit perfectly, had some flex when I installed while the system was running but overall were a great fit and seemed up to the task. Post install picture of 20x20 filter install provided.

I am just learning about MERV ratings and what they mean. This is my understanding: Basically, there is MERV 2 through MERV 20. Most residential buildings need a minimum of a MERV 6. Commercial buildings use MERV 9 or better typically. Hospitals use MERV 13 or better typically. A MERV 8 is supposed to be suitable for residence or industrial workplaces and filters out Mold/spores, dust/dust mites, lint, textile and carpet fibers, and pollen. That is typically what homeowners want. Having this available for this price on Amazon is so convenient for several reasons. Number one: there is nothing more annoying than having to trudge through a home supply store trying to find something like this -- at least in my opinion. Number two: the price on Amazon is just as good or cheaper. Number three: it comes straight to your door.

These filters are so much nicer and stronger than some store bought filters. The filter media is nice and captures a lot of dirt. We have two dogs and they constantly bring in mud and dust and everything else. It gets everything. The price is better than in store as well. Highly recommend.
