> 3 dayI have done a few of these stockings and I really enjoy them. The instructions are written well and they are not super hard to do. Some things are a little more time consuming than others but overall I really love doing them for my family.

> 3 dayTypical felt stocking kit. I am about half way through putting it together, so far looks great. This is the 5th one I have done in the last couple of years. I always run out of white embroidery floss prior to completion, so I do pickup extra at the craft store. Also as a tip, I add a fabric to line the inside of the stocking. This way all the knots and stitches are no longer exposed. This step is not a lot of effort and adds a nice finishing touch.

> 3 dayI have several friends who have made these stockings. I can tell you what Ive heard from them. These things are a {insert five letter word here} to put together. You have to follow the instructions carefully and a lot of the needlework is very meticulous and delicate. Unless you are an accomplished seamstress with mad sewing skills, give yourself 6-8 weeks to get this put together. But the finished product is very beautiful.

22-04-2025My husband has a bucilla stocking that his grandmother made for him when he was a boy and he wanted me to make myself one when we first were married. I am NOT a crafty/sewing person at all!! I did not want to do it because it looked so hard. Finally last Christmas my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son kept asking over and over to look at Daddys stocking. They loved it so much that I finally considered making each person one. I read countless reviews and thought Id try it. My daughter chose the Sugar Plum Fairy stocking. I ordered it end of November and I finished it Christmas Eve day. It took MANY MANY hours as everyone says but surprisingly to me it wasnt really difficult. It is a lot of tiny busy work. I did have a little trouble with making the chains and with the hair but other than that it goes piece by piece and comes together. I did it mostly at night and nap times. A few tips I got through reviews and through my own experience. 1. If you have young children do not use paper plates (as suggested in the directions) to sort your beads and sequins. this is just asking for trouble. I used a flat rectangular plastic tool box (or fishing tackle box) with little dividers. Then I left the beads and sequins in their plastic bags and just cut the top open. In the box I had everything together that I needed and I could put it away when my children were around and take it out when I was using it. 2. I cut little pieces of cardboard from toilet paper tubes and wrapped my thread around these by colors so they were all separated. I also wrote down what colors they were. This helped because in this stocking especially there are very similar colors and I had to count yards at the beginning to know which color it was. 3. The instructions on the stitches was not very clear to me so I looked up the stitches on youtube as others have suggested and that was how I learned how to do them. 4. After finishing the front piece of the stocking I hand stitched a piece of fabric to it before attaching the back. This way I can actually use it as the stocking Santa fills and I dont worry about the presents catching the threads in the back. Overall I was very pleased with this stocking and I have started on another one for my son.

> 3 dayThe photo doesnt do this cute stocking justice. It is much prettier! I added some fluff under the skirt pieces to help keep the shape of the curved design and so it wouldnt crush when packed away. This was a lot of fun but it did take a lot of time (which I have loads of anyway!) The little ornaments were diverse and added a lot of dimension to the design. My little princess will love it. Highly Recommended. Quality Product. Bucilla never disappoints.
