> 3 dayI love the finished product of this but I had to modify quite a few things. Please read other reviews. Like others I attached things to the pieces before putting them on sock. I also had to buy some other red beads to put on the tree as the ones sent didnt work. Had to also order more embroider thread. A needle threader is a great thing to order too. I also lined the outside of the sock with an old soft pillowcase I had. Otherwise the ends of thread would be inside. I think my granddaughter will love this. I hope my daughter in law helps her keep it nice as she is only 2. I added a little felt pocket on back and wrote my granddaguther a letter telling her I stitched the sock with love. It took me 2 months to finish. I didnt do it solid but did put in some 4 hour days. Give yourself lots of time and be ready to swear. happy sewing

> 3 dayWell, it is beautiful. However, I thought this would be a finished product. My bad! This will take me all year to finish for my niece for NEXT years Christmas! The fabric is wonderful and the instructions are MOSTLY clear.

Greater than one weekThis is my first ever Christmas stocking and Im half way through it. The design is cute and does require a lot of time to complete because it has many tiny pieces. I didnt get bored though because every little piece seems to have something unique to work with. My biggest concern is the poor quality of the felt. The front and back pieces (green felt) are so flimsy that Im worried if they can hold together without any tear. The edge of the front piece already got frayed though I stitch the pieces on it very carefully. I am thinking of using an extra cotton lining when finishing up the stocking; otherwise, it wont be able to hold lots of Santas goodies in it. Besides the green felt, the white one is pretty poor too. Some pieces are so thin that they are see-through. If Im gonna spend so much time making it, I prefer it to have a better quality in fabric.

Greater than one weekIm sure that if I had the time to put this together, it would be really nice. I guess I didnt read the listing that said it requires LOTS of effort to put this thing together.

> 3 dayThis was super easy to make and looks absolutely adorable when finished. Its nice and deep too, so you can fit several things in there.

> 3 dayI have several friends who have made these stockings. I can tell you what Ive heard from them. These things are a {insert five letter word here} to put together. You have to follow the instructions carefully and a lot of the needlework is very meticulous and delicate. Unless you are an accomplished seamstress with mad sewing skills, give yourself 6-8 weeks to get this put together. But the finished product is very beautiful.

> 3 dayI chose this stocking for my grandchild. My daughters had received and still use theirs from 30 plus years ago. This stocking had more small parts than I expected and has been slow working. It is almost finished and will be real cute when it is finished. The one thing I did not like was the dark green felt material for the basic stocking seemed thin, so I went out and bought a sturdier piece of felt so it would last longer
