would have liked more sequins and less embroidery

Its a really cute stocking, just a lot of small pieces to cut and emroider. It came with all of the necessary pieces. The only problem I had was that some of the beads did not fit over the needle but I had the same problem with other stocking kits purchases other places.

I love making these. This will be my 4th one. Takes a long time to make, but my niece is going to love this. And I am going to love the fact that I was able to make this for her.

I ordered this a year ago and its still not finished. Its fun and I think it will be really cute when its finished however it takes a super long time to finish.

I did not know the major sewing this project would entail--thought it would be more craft like. I was forced to put an ad on craigslist and have a professional sew it for me because it was going to look like a poor craft project if I did it. I paid the lady $40 like she asked, and I think I ripped her off because it took her 40 hours to do! She is very competent I have seen her work. Thats $1 and hour. She did a good job as you can see from the pics I posted on my fireplace. She said the material (felt) was somewhat weak and not to hang it with stuff in it but rather lay it gainst the fireplace when I fill it up. Just know what your getting into, thats all.
