Greater than one weekI have waited to give a reveiw.I gave it a 3 star because of the brass fitting that come with the tank.I have used this tank for a while. The brass fitting that comes with it are cheap junk. The tank is a nice light weight tank. I changed the brass fittings . It works very well NOW.So if you buy this tank i feel you will want to figure the cost of changing the brass fittings as an extra. FYI.( My tank was sent to some one else,Then shipped back to amazon. Then shipped to me)

> 3 dayThis works great to bring compressed air to a small job, without having to lug the compressor over to the job. Easy to connect male fittings to it. Red handle turns off air flow when you need to do so. It does not feel heavy to lug around. I use it around the barn and workshop.

> 3 dayOther reviewers mentioned that CAT went cheap on the brass and they werent joking.... The goop they use to seal the threads is also pretty nasty stuff...smells like some sort of epoxy. The compressor I got from them was kind of leaky until I taped and reseated everything, so I didnt even bother filling the tank up before replacing the fittings. I cant say for sure if they are even brass. As you can see the Tee fitting broke apart as I was removing it. The tank itself is very lightweight and feels solid. Im wary about replacing the drain valve and main intake fitting since I dont want to deal with returning the item should anything happen. I dont think the threaded ports that are welded onto the tank are solid aluminum, but what can you expect for about $100? Its still a good value, but I wish they would have not included the extras and maybe just had more solid ports.

> 3 dayI found the whole assembly well-thought-out for the casual user. The valve does a good job of keeping the air in when you want it to, the connections make it easy to either fill the tank or use it. Could they be tougher or better protected? Sure. But in casual use, this thing should last for a very long time. Key thing to longevity is to detach all hoses and other stuff while transporting it. You cant expect the tank valve to survive much abuse given how its installed vs. how the rest of the assembly acts on it. Welds on mine looked fine, just as the paint job. Its very light, and it stores a much more air than my compressor. Makes it ideal for quick refills of tires and like stuff, rather than having to lug a compressor and power cord around. I would also recommend it for large but intermittent loads, where your compressor can use it like a battery to store air that is going to be released in short bursts that exceed the capacity of the built-in accumulator. Using this tank in a fixed installation is likely a waste as similar steel-based tanks cost less. Downside of steel tanks, however, is that you have to watch for water (and the resultant corrosion).

> 3 dayInitially very impressive. Twice the weight/thickness as my old corroded tank and no pressure loss after two days. Not too expensive.

Greater than one weekI use this portable tank for inflating my garden tractor tires where there is no electricity. It holds the pressure in the tank without leaking for a very long time (weeks).
