> 3 dayI guess its going to be ok. I think its got a small leak right out of the box. I dont expect the shut off valve with the lever to live very long. You got to be on the fill valve just right or it wont seal .

> 3 dayI read the reviews and bought it anyway. The reviews were correct, valves dont work right out of the box.I will have to replace all valves. The Aluminum tank is nice but the valves are junk

> 3 dayReceived two. Both were broken and did not function properly. Now I’m fighting for service under the supposed 1 year warranty on the second tank because I bought through Amazon instead of direct.

> 3 dayWorks great so far. I chose the steel tank but it is still lighter then my pancake compressor. I keep it at 90 which is conservative but my van can get over 120 in the sun. I am going to get a longer hose so I dont even need to take it out of the back.

Greater than one weekGood tank. Quick disconnect came rubbing against gauge. Finally got the fittings off and replaced all with quality fittings arranged how I wanted them.

> 3 dayThe California Air Tools 10 gal tank is a handy tool to have on hand, but the other reviews describing the fitting as cheap are correct. I ordered the 5 gal tank, filled it with 100 lbs of air, it leaked down to about 70 lbs over night. Couldnt find the leak. I returned it , and ordered the 10 gal tank. When the 10 gal tank arrived, I discovered that it had been purchased and returned by a previous customer. The tank had air in it and had some scuff marks on the bottom of the tank. Im a bit disappointed in Amazon for pulling that sort of transaction. But, the 10 gal tank is much like the 5 gal tank, has cheap fittings. I put 100 lbs of air in it and it leaked down about 5 lbs within 2 or 3 hours. I soap tested it for leaks, but could not find any I cant tell why it is losing air pressure. I will keep it and replace the fitting if it becomes a real problem. Just be prepared to fill the tank before you use it, I dont know how long air will remain in the tank over a long period of time.. I did buy the aluminum tank, it is light, and well built. It should last a long time. I do plan to up grade the fittings later.

> 3 dayGOOD STEEL TANK, A LITTLE FLIMSY ON THE GAUGES AND VALVES BUT THEY WORK. THATS WHAT KEEPS THE PRICE DOWN. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS ONE TO SOMEONE THAT WILL BE THOROUGHGOING IT IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK EVERY DAY.

> 3 dayLight weight so easily carried, the fixtures(valves handles etc ) could be more heavy duty
