I have had my Canon Rebel XT for 14 years and just ordered the new SL3 that came out yesterday. But I wanted a wide aperture portraiture lens to go with it, hence choosing this. The only separate lens I ever bought was a cheaper, Canon telephoto lens that does okay. Other than that, I only ever used the kit lens.

Absolutely would recommend for your lens collection. Doesnt zoom, but has perfect portrait clarity with a beautiful blurred background! Im in love with it.

Awesome lense

Love the lens! But i picked this particular bundle out for the hood- which wasn’t included! I waited near a month for this! However lens is great but that was expected
