I have been using this lens on my Canon 7D for a few weeks now. It has performed very well. I can now shoot in low light situations without attaching flash or boosting my ISO to the point where noise is the picture. The kit I bought provided a UV filter which I have used exclusively. The other stuff is nice too.

Great lens and solid value-add for the rest of the stuff in the kit. I especially appreciate the filters, as I take a lot of candids/portraits outdoors. The 50mm definitely helped with my photography for the rescue organization I volunteer for.

Great deal. Came with everything that it stated. Great for beginners i HIGHLY recommend getting this package just for the lens and filters alone. If i have 1 negative thing to say about this its that the lens sleeve is cheaply made so it doesnt close but other than that everything else is on point.

I bought this to replace my other 50mm. I didn’t really get the chance to use it until recently. Found out that after using it the whole AF locks up and the lens won’t focus and makes loud noises. Super disappointed. I tried to see about a policy to return or get it fixed but can’t seem to find it in the description.
