This lens is great and I use it everyday but Im disappointed with the lens hood. It doesnt fit the lens.

Bought this for my new Canon 850d. Very nice quality. Well built. Nice pictures and the accessories were decent. The nifty fifty is a must have lens. And the price is great for this lens!

I can see why they call this lens the fantastic plastic or nifty Fifty Ive not shot sharper photos with any lens anywhere near the price of this lens. If you are looking for a great portrait lens at a very reasonable price you cant go wrong with this lens.

This is a great lens, but it can be tricky to get your subject in complete clear focus. It is noisy, but asl long as you’re not shooting a video it won’t be noticeable. I shoot potriats with this lens every week and they turn out perfect with this lens, but I do have to rely on autofocus with it more often than I would like (that’s the only reason for the four star rating). This lens is also beautiful for landscapes and low light and night shots.

It really works so good and the quality is really good. Here are photos taken by the lens. Mind that these photos are unedited with no filters. These are taken by the lens itself with no edits. I honestly recommend this if you really want to take portrait photos and is on a certain budget. However, it depends on what type of lens you want to try out / are looking for but I highly recommend to try it out and see if its any of your liking. I really love this lens honestly. When putting or removing the lens, just know that because its a different lens/ different camera, it can be a little tight to put on or remove. Thats normal. Its a just a little something to take note of.

I didnt get the LensPen in my kit, and the pouch was so small that this lens will not fit into it without a MAJOR struggle. I now use the pouch for a ball-head hot shoe, but I had to buy another pouch to fit this lens. Some have complained about the lens hood but so far so good on that. Its certainly better than nothing. Havent tried the other accessories. This lens is spectacular and we used it on a film shoot. The crew dubbed it the workhorse!
