Focus ring doesn’t work very well. You have to turn the power on to get the focus ring to work. And turned to manual focus. And then most of the time it doesn’t work.

I love the look of this lens!! Looks great with the 70D

Had this lens for a year now and it is truly amazing. Only downside is that you can’t change zoom because it 50mm, so if you don’t mind paying a couple of $100 more for the 30mm I recommend that as well.

It really works so good and the quality is really good. Here are photos taken by the lens. Mind that these photos are unedited with no filters. These are taken by the lens itself with no edits. I honestly recommend this if you really want to take portrait photos and is on a certain budget. However, it depends on what type of lens you want to try out / are looking for but I highly recommend to try it out and see if its any of your liking. I really love this lens honestly. When putting or removing the lens, just know that because its a different lens/ different camera, it can be a little tight to put on or remove. Thats normal. Its a just a little something to take note of.

Lens itself is OK but among the accessories should have been a tulip hood. Thats what the image shows. Instead theres a flimsy collapsible hood and its torn with what appears to be dusty smudges across its surface. I wouldnt bring it near my camera.

Its a great product

The lens is the highlight of this kit. My first pictures were of objects around my home. Each pic had an artistic flare. The difference in quality between the 50mm and kit lens is astounding! No editing is needed. I plan to take it for a spin with a client today.

Very good quality, and nice kit for beginners. The Lena comes in a original box and papers!
