Not a bad lens for the money once you get used to not being able to zoom with it. Have gotten some good shots with it so far.

Love the lens...HOWEVER...the accessories that come with the lens are not as described. It says that it comes with a 49 mm lens hood - WRONG - it comes with a 58 mm lens hood with an adaptor that makes it fit the 49 mm lens. The problem with that is once the adapter is on, the lens cap no longer fits the camera. So, if you have the hood on (with the adaptor), you cant get the lens cap on. In order to get the cap back on the lens, you must remove not only the hood, but also the adaptor. A lot of hassle if you ask me! You run into the same issue with the 3 piece filter set...it came as a 58 mm and not the 49 mm advertised set. Very unhappy and feel I was mislead from what was advertised and what was actually received. Will not be purchasing anything else from this seller!

As a beginner, this is an excellent and affordable lens—recommended for anyone who wants to take that first step away from their kit lens.

This lense didn’t work for me. It couldn’t focus and all the pictures were blurry. I have 2 other lenses that worked fine and the pictures came out great but not with this one. I called customer service and he also confirmed that it was defect. Sorry but, I had to return it. I was given a full refund which I am happy.

As someone who is still fairly new to photography and experimenting with different lenses and shooting styles, I immediately feel in love with this lens. I love photos that rely heavily on depth of field, and this is the perfect lens for that type of photography. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes focusing on portraits and detailed shots in general!

A great addition to my kit! You need a 50mm! This is the one. There are less expensive 50s but you want the quality so I would spend the extra cash... really not that mutch more for the better lens!

onestly i was expecting something wow.but to me is the same as the regular lense that comes with the camera.
