Bought this for my husband to use with his Canon T-3. He loves this lens. The price was very good too. You get a lot of lens for not a lot of money. Its pretty much replaced the standard 55mm lens that came with his camera kit. this one is a lot more versatile. He loves the f/1.8 ability, too. Highly recommend this lens.

Even though most 50mm lenses are strong performers, this one is an exceptional value. Quiet operation, fabulous image quality f2-f11, good fit and finish, creamy bokeh. This lens complements my 24-105 f4, for the times when a fast 50 will do the trick. If you were on a budget and only could afford one lens for your full-frame camera, this one would serve you very well.
