did not show up on time, but it was worth the wait! the f-stop on this thing is amazing for a budget lens. definitely recommend for a beginner looking to play around with and learn manual camera settings.

This is far better then the old pastic nifty fifty and very well worth the money. In terms of sharpness the old and new are pretty identical however, the bokeh is amazing and very much more pleasing to the eye. Ive used it for both video and stills and i was not disappointed

You need this lens because its works so well in low light settings. Also, its great to use if youre new to photography or are a professional, either way this lens will produce beautiful sharp images. Add the 50mm to your collection, it will be used. Plus its so incredibly cheap.
