> 3 dayAs an amatuer photographer, I cant say enough about what this lens has offered me in versatility, quality and at the same time being kind to my wallet. I shoot with a Canon T3 that I bought used with an 18-55 stock lens which was great for a while, but I eventually felt like I needed more reach in order to capture dragonflies, birds and other wildlife. This lens is my workhorse, not only for its reach, but also for its ability to take excellent close photos of people, flowers, or anything else that crosses my path that does not require a wider view to capture...The other lenses in my bag are Canons 24mm 2.8, the nifty fifty and a DIY tilt lens, (zenza bronica 75mm in a plumbing bell...cause I wasnt born rich).

> 3 dayAmazing lens. Great image quality. Image stabilization is incredible. Autofocus is absolutely silent. Be warned though, the image stabilization does make very slight noise (placing my ear on the lens). This will not be a problem for most people, however, it might be a problem for videographers who film mainly completely silent scenes

> 3 dayI’m an amateur photographer and this is a great starter zoom! I wish I could get a further zoom for wildlife photography, but this lens has opened a whole new world for me! I’ve had no issues and it’s worth the price!
