Greater than one weekI have a home office and work two jobs. I bought the Canon for light duty use. Have it less than 3 months and have never been so frustrated. The included black ink had about 4 pages of use in it. So I ordered the high output ink cartridges. I cannot get them installed. So I order regular cartridges which fit...but then after about 20 pages the warning light went on - the black in was running low. THEN I get a warning message that I needed to restart my computer and the printer to clear up the error message. I did that, no luck, then I uninstalled the driver (as per pop up error suggestion) and I tried to reinstall the printer driver. My Model does not appear on any canon site. I had to google my model number and even then the download for the new driver did not work. I would never ever again get another Canon product

Greater than one weekIt is a POS when I use the GETTING STARTED MANUEL and went to the website it did NOT RECOGNIZE TS3420, my model # so I put in TS3400. (THAT IS ON THE GETTING STARTED MANUEL) it did not recognize that either. I got a pull down menu and used the closest model # that I could find TS5 something. It downloaded something and the printer worked. and now shows up as TS3420 on my computer. no print, no scan...worthless

> 3 dayI will need to find a power cord that fits, because the power cord provided with this printer is the wrong one and does not fit!

> 3 dayThe printer is fine, although, the starter ink is more than a little skimpy and the black ink was used up with less than 50 copies printed. The insult came when I tried to replace the ink which was listed with this printer and the error message was wrong ink cartridge NOT only on the printer but my computer. Maybe I was too trusting, assuming that if the printer was frequently bought with this ink it must be the right ink ? Seemed logical that if the item also displayed frequently bought together with this printer, then it would be the right ink, yes? ... NO. Too late to try and return as it has been 6 months, but also, I cracked opened the cellophane of the ink itself. Expensive mistake.

> 3 dayPurchased this printer in June. Used a few times to print return labels. Printer broke today (July 27) and requires repair or replacement. Repair will likely cost as much as what I paid for the printer. Don’t be stupid like me! I plan to avoid Canon products entirely and will purchase a warranty on my next printer purchase. P.S. Always save the box your purchases were mailed in. Makes returns easier.
