> 24 hourEasy to use like any pastel crayon. Colors come alive when water added. Rich pigments. Mixes very quickly with water unlike the waxy watercolor pencils I have tried. Worth buying.

> 24 hourThese are beautiful crayons. They run smoothly like all of Caran d’Ache’s products. I’m still experimenting with them, but I found you can use them directly on the paper or mix them on a separate surface like a plastic palette. I have even shaved them onto the palette and watered them down. Almost like pan watercolors. If you use them directly on your watercolor paper make sure to press lightly so you can water them down later with a brush and water. Otherwise you might not be able to get rid of the crayon strokes.

> 24 hourBought these for a friend for her birthday, and they were a mess and crumbled once she got them!!! I’m so upset! They are too expensive to not be sent with care

> 24 hourI have really enjoyed using these with water. They are super saturated and very vibrant. When using they feel like a cross between crayon and oil pastel—very smooth but soft.

> 24 hourI bought the set with 15 colors but wish I had gotten more colors as these are fun to use. You can blend the colors together to get more shades but Ill probably buy the set with more colors. These are great to use in art journals and cards. A plus for my art studio.

> 24 hourThese are really amazing for writing on skin! Weve been using them as an alternative to face-paint.

> 24 hourLove, love love these! One of the students in my art class brought a set of these in and after seeing my teachers delight I just had to buy a set to try. You can draw and color with them like regular crayons but then you take a damp/wet paintbrush and turn your picture in to a painting ~ or you can draw something on top of your panting; then wet a brush and gently go over whatever you draw and it becomes part of the picture! Beautiful colors that you can control the intensity of. After seeing how beautiful the colors were I am sorry I didnt invest in the larger set!
