These are so fun to use. Nice array of colors. Next Im ordering the metallic set. Full of possibilities and will last for a long time! My first project was coloring directly on a photo. What a fun way to accent!

What fun I am having with these! Some others I have tried have been so soft that trying to draw was a joke or too hard to lay down intense hue. These are just right, and I like all the colors I have to play with. When I use a wet brush, a new world opens up. I will always go back to traditional watercolors, but these are the melding of drawing and painting, a new animal for me that I keep finding occasions to use.

I purchased a cheap set of watercolor crayons from a Big Box craft store. I was sorely disappointed with the intensity of the color and with the blendability. Although the Caran dAche are pricey for a novice like me, I was amazed with the difference between these and the cheap version. Creamy consistency, blends fully and evenly with water, nice rich colors. Worth the extra cost!

These water soluble crayons are a MUST HAVE! I use them in almost every one of my mixed media pieces now. I dont know how I hadnt heard of them before. I purchased this set and then went to an art supply website where they have them open stock so I could buy them by the crayon. I supplemented this set with the crayons I purchased open-stock there. I now have a WIDE range of colors of these, and I LOVE them!

These are wonderful and water soluble. You wont be able to mark over them very easily though as they are waxy. They will last you a long time.

These are amazing! They arrived with no broken crayons and the tin is also in perfect condition. Can’t wait to use them in my coloring books.
