> 3 dayIm in love with these. Once you learn how to use them on different paper they are a breeze to use. The only complaint i have is in the 84 watersoluble set i bought, the gold one came as a Neo I instead of the watersoluble Neo II.

> 3 dayIf you like to watercolor or just plain sketch and have the option to cleanly blend your colors, then this is your product. I also purchased this with the crayola watercolor pencils and crayola portfolio oil pastels. To make the cleanest drawings/paintings, heres a quick tip. Sketch with the watercolor pencils and get your base sketch out Fill in with the caran dache water pastels all your big areas and some details. These colors dont wear out like normal crayons so dont worry. Finish blending and detailing with the portfolio pastels since they will draw over the caran daches. You can always go thicker but never thinner. i.e. watercolor pencils will never draw over caran or portfolio, and portfolios can draw over the other two with no problem. If you remember that then you will have no problems creating your masterpieces. Have fun!

> 3 dayAdore these for mixed media journaling. Depending on the heaviness of the application, the colors can be as pale as pastel or as vibrant as a rainbow. These blend beautifully and so easily. A definite must for those who love water color applications. The provided tin makes these easily transportable for traveling. A true gem of an art supply that all artists should invest in.

> 3 dayMy favourite cara d’ache product. So much more than a water colour crayon for paper. I use wet or dry on fabric and paper - possibilities are endless. A very convenient and go-to Art medium for many projects including beyond illustrations. These are top notch in quality.

> 3 dayI bought these after seeing them used for body art on pinterest. Just dip the tip in some water and draw directly on the skin. Totally not the intended purpose but my kids and I have had a lot of fun with these.

Greater than one weekI am a true amateur, in an art group with very tolerant, much better artists. I have a low-grade set of regular watercolors, which I didnt enjoy much, and one of my group lent me a box of these. They are really fun! You can get a lot of effects from mixing techniques: you can water them down in the box top and paint normally, but you can also draw with them, and then use a wet brush to achieve a variety of effects. I recommend them highly, and my good artists also seem to like them a lot. Its an interesting concept. I ordered a set for my granddaughter, who likes drawing best but had never really tried watercolor, and she, too, loves them. Go for it.

> 3 dayThese are wonderful and water soluble. You wont be able to mark over them very easily though as they are waxy. They will last you a long time.
