> 3 dayI got these in mail today may 5. I was very excited to try them out. I took pictures because there were hairs on white tin when you opened it up. I hope you can see in pictures two strands of hair. Crayons are not damaged but the hair was odd and weird. Very surprising because Caran dache products are supposed to be great quality items. It’s just weird to open new product and fine hair on lid. I don’t know if it’s a manufacturing flaw. But maybe they double check their product before shipping. I have not had opportunity to use them they look beautiful. It’s just the hair freaked me out. That’s why I took stars off my review.

> 3 dayI’ve wanted these for quite awhile and finally got them with birthday gift certificates. They’re long lasting, vibrantly colored, easy to disperse with water, and so much fun to play around with! A lot like using crayons when you were a kid. They’ll bring a smile to your face and take you down memory lane lol! Pricey because they’re Caran D’Ache but good lightfastness and quality.

07-06-2025Upon careful opening, 5 were broken either due to poor packaging or poor delivery. This is a high end product, so should be delivered in perfect condition

> 3 dayIm sure I will continue to use these. They are great, blendable crayons. I am giving five stars because of this. However, there were a couple issues. Many of the tips were chipped upon delivery. Also, when you pull the first or second tab off, it can remove the name. This can be bad if you record the names of the colors you are using for a project unless you create swatches to help you.

> 3 dayLove, love love these! One of the students in my art class brought a set of these in and after seeing my teachers delight I just had to buy a set to try. You can draw and color with them like regular crayons but then you take a damp/wet paintbrush and turn your picture in to a painting ~ or you can draw something on top of your panting; then wet a brush and gently go over whatever you draw and it becomes part of the picture! Beautiful colors that you can control the intensity of. After seeing how beautiful the colors were I am sorry I didnt invest in the larger set!

> 3 dayI purchased these beause the local childrens meusem uses them for face painting, they are super easy to use and allow for beautiful face/skin art and shading. They are easy to clean between kids and dry so that they dont smear when touched, They come off easily with water and are great for sensitive skin.
