17-11-2024I have a pinched nerve in between my shoulder blades with extremely painful serrated knife cutting through my triceps type of radiating pain in my arm. Muscle relaxers were kinda helping, pain killers did nothing really. I have been active in the gym prior to the pain so getting back to working on my gains bro was of top priority second only to pain relief. Chiropractors are a sham and will only do more damage. So I was at a crossroads of needing relief. And this seemingly simple contraption was the only possible light at the end of my tunnel. It shipped super quick so I when I got the package I quickly tore apart the new elope and got to work on figuring out how to put it on. Word of caution if you have a new or healing shoulder injury DO NOT attempt to put this on. You will hurt yourself! My shoulders are 50” and biceps 16”. If you are any bigger than that you probably won’t fit in this and if you do, it probably won’t be comfortable. Speaking of comfort, sometimes you have to choose the lesser evil. This is not comfy to wear. It will rub in your armpits and on your neck. But! It will release the pressure just enough to help with radiating pain. It will force you to sit up straight which will prevent future problems as well as helping to align your spine to relieve pain. It won’t make sitting any more comfortable but it will make it more tolerable. It won’t take away your neck pain but helping your posture will remind you to stop looking down at your phone like you are doing right now. Lol I do have more ability to turn my neck even though the pain is there, i don’t feel so robotic. It’s 20 bucks and for some much needed relief even though it doesnt erase pain you can at least feel more relaxed.

> 3 dayWow. I just received this yesterday (last night to be exact) and put it on right away. I felt relief in my upper back/shoulder blades immediately. I personally didn’t think it changed my appearance until I walked by my husband wearing it under my hoodie, and he told me I looked different. “Good different” he clarified. The instructions say to start wearing it for a short amount of time and work up because it can be uncomfortable. I wore it the night I received it for an hour, and the discomfort I felt was mostly under my armpits, but it wasn’t unbearable and definitely worth that for the immediate change and pain relief. Background on me: I’m 5’3”, 130lbs, medium build. I’ve had large breasts and bad posture since I was 14, which caused neck and upper back pain. I was a year-round swimmer for years, so I have broad shoulders that are still kind of awkward to me even after years of not swimming competitively. I’ve seen a chiropractor every week since high school for my neck and back pain, which helped but never fully alleviated the discomfort for long enough to skip a week. UPDATE! 1/3/21 I had been wearing this brace almost every day since I received it, but now I am able to use it less and for less time. It’s more like a refresher when I feel like I need it. The first couple weeks after I received it, my chiropractor told me my neck wasn’t in dire need of an adjustment (as it has been, every week, for years). He actually asked me the same of the brace because of the difference it made in my posture and neck. My entire family couldn’t believe the difference (even my sisters across the country ON FACETIME)! They all asked for this for Christmas. So now my whole family has one! This product really worked (and is continuing to work) for me and now, my family. It can be uncomfortable (still is rough on my armpits), but after suffering so many years of excruciating neck pain and migraines, it’s worth it. I am amazed that after a couple decades of bad posture, this brace was able to help me so much in less than a month!

Greater than one weekI just got my brace yesterday and wore it for about half an hour, so thats where Im coming from with this review. My family have noticed my poor posture lately and have been commenting on it, so Ive ordered a new chair for my home office, a lumbar support cushion for my chair at work, and this thing for when Im not at either. Ive got a large torso and wide shoulders, so I wasnt sure how long the straps should be; eventually I decided to put them on with only slightly lengthened straps from the default. Theyre elastic, and fairly strongly so, and they held my shoulders back in the proper posture without trouble. My family noticed immediately that I was standing straighter, so clearly theyre doing the job, and there wasnt any noticeable discomfort from the relatively tight straps. The seller recommends wearing them for short periods until you get used to them, and I can see why: I wore them only half an hour because my shoulders were getting sore. The fact of the muscle soreness suggests that my body is actually doing some of the work to hold my shoulders back (probably unconsciously), and thats good news: it means my rear deltoids will actually be tightening up over time while wearing them, improving my posture even without the brace on. I dont think this is the ideal solution for poor posture - barbell exercises for the chest and upper/lower back are the best solutions - but for anyone without time or access to a gym this is at lesat a reasonable alternative. I cant say how well this would help people with longterm injuries or chronic pain, as I dont have either, but at least as far as a single wearing this product seems to be exactly what its advertised to be. Ill update this review in a month or so, after Ive worn it more. EDIT: Ive now had the brace for two weeks, and I can safely say that its much more comfortable to wear for longer periods now than it was at the beginning. Ive restarted my weightlifting regimen, so its hard to say which has had more effect, but Ive noticed myself automatically sitting up straight without having to consciously make myself do so. Obviously, this involves tensing muscles, so I have a little bit more soreness after long periods sitting with no back support than before, but thats been fading as I become accustomed to it.

> 3 dayI purchased this Velcro back support to help my slouching posture following an accident that left me with several fractures. I was rounding my shoulders subconsciously so I decided to try this brace. It can be a bit awkward to put on at first, but I have a system down that works. I now wear it an hour 2x a day and it really helps condition my brain to keep my shoulders back. I am more comfortable and look forward to wearing it! It is flexible and the Velcro maintains a snug hold. Tighten to your own comfort level. You can wear it under a jacket or vest if you want to wear it out. I wear it mostly when I am home. A great product for the price and delivery was quick. Simple, easy and it works!

> 3 dayBought a new pillow, didnt work. Bought a massager, works, but not for long. Bought this to assist in my poor posture from sitting at a computer most the day to see if this would help. I have worn it for about 2 hours a day for two weeks now. I love it! My neck and shoulder pain have eased so much as my muscles go back to the proper positioning. My neck and shoulders are less stressed and no more tension. I find myself walking straight and tall when I go by a window or mirror. My wife and and coworkers mention how straight I sit now. Well worth the purchase.

> 3 dayI am 86 and was slouching badly. I thought that if I didnt take some action now, it would be permanent and would hamper my breathing. I was wearing it too long at first and my shoulders hurt. I slowly broke it in and am very happy with the results. I am standing up straighter even when I dont have it on. I can now wear it all day long. I even wear it to the gym. Be sure to loosen the straps a lot. It makes it easier to put on and take off. Even when I dont have it on, I no longer slouch.

> 3 dayIve been using this product since May 2020. I will make this clear. This product does improve your posture but you need to understand that this product is not a remedy/treatment for back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, or hip pain. If you have suffering from any of these issues, please see a doctor. As for the product itself, I suggest you analyze your own posture and mobility habits. I personally have a history of moderate to severe bad back posture and have years of physical therapy, chiropractor, and personal trainers analyze and help with my posture. I have successful improve it without the need for any type of surgery. I came across this product and read the reviews. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: -- Light weight and portable: you can take it with you when you travel or wear it without the corrector being too exposed. I recommend wearing it over a light t-shirt and under a long or short sleeve. -- High quality velcro: there are no wrinkles or dents on the product if you store it for long periods of time. I recommend you store it by adequately folding it and putting it inside the box. --The suggestion to start with 20 minutes wear cycles is key to adjusting to the product and your body. -- Great for anaerobic fitness such as certain weight lifting routine workouts. I would not recommend for deadlifting, barbell squatting, or heaving bench pressing. --High quality customer service support via email and phone. --The price is just due to the quality and service. --Movement resistance: Product supports body movement by not feeling restricted but keeping firm and comfortable support when stretching, walking, jogging, etc. Cons: --Neoprene may have slight wear depending on extreme and daily usage. In my case, the thread got exposed and was slightly lose that some of the sewing came off. This was by trail of error of using back posture for housework involving heavy lifting and being expose to areas that damaged it (not by normal everyday casual use). --There are no instructions regarding washing or cleaning the product. There should be some short text detailing instructions for washing/cleaning. P.S There may be slightly discomfort under the armpit and mid back after you stop using it for more than a week. Normally, you can get adjusted to it fairly easy. The product works best when applying calisthenics and targeting body such as rounded shoulders, wing scapula, and uneven back or arm muscles. If you have severe posture, I recommend you see a doctor.

> 3 dayNot bad so far! Its only been a few days but at the very least it helps me hold my back in place more. The straps are comfy, if you feel like they are not just adjust the straps.
