I am about 12 weeks pregnant and a young 26 who has always had a problem with posture. I know that as I progress in my pregnancy I will get someone called lordosis which is when your lower back sticks out, common in pregnant women and pushing that gut forward. I knew I had to do something about the possible hunchback, got clearance from doctor and I bought this. I put it on and I felt my back get straighter, I know I will probably have to take it off when I get bigger, but if need be Ill put it back on once baby is born. The only thing wrong is it digs into the armpit to a somewhat uncomfortable level. I hope there is a way to fix that. Other than that it is a good product. I wish I bought this sooner. But, arrogance.

Ive been burned by Amazon before, but Id like to think its made me a wiser consumer. Still, I wasnt sure if this was for real or not, even with the rave reviews. Im a massage therapist and a gamer and a driver so my arms are permanently forward. I probably look like Frankenstein when I sleep. I also have a larger chest (like the actual chest part) and larger-than-average breasts (36DD, 42 around). Hyperkyphosis/humpbacks run in the family. None of that is changing any time soon so Ive been looking into posture correctors to help retrain my muscles, decrease the rounded shoulders forward posture, decrease tension in my back and pecs, and give my front line some relief and my back line some support. I decided on this one with some trepidation. Well its kind of wild, but I noticed an improvement after wearing this immediately. It gives immediate relief because it pulls everything thats slouching forward back. What I would advise is to be sure youre not hyperlordosis-ing your back; that is, when you put this on, be sure to keep your back tall and low-back neutral, perhaps even tucked a little because this corrector will possibly incline you to push out your butt more, increasing sway-back and compromising other muscles. You want a nice, even back as much as possible in your life, but especially when you wear this. After only an hour of wearing it, my posture was already more naturally tall and corrected. Felt good, really. Ive only been wearing it about an hour a day for a week and its made a noticeable improvement in how I stand and work. Its also helping to keep my shoulders down. They tend to creep up on me due to anxiety and my work/play. If it *hurts* right after you put it on, loosen the straps a bit. Ease into using it, maybe even just 30min to start depending on your conditions. Id highly recommend this product.

It was a gift to my daughter, and she is still using it. She likes it.

First one didn’t come in the original packaging (plastic zip bag) and 2nd one came in original packaging. The first was definitely used due to straps being adjust wrong (backwards). Slightly uncomfortable but it’s bearable.

This worked so fast! I’ve only worn it a couple of times but even after the first time I used it (only for about 15 minutes) my posture immediately improved even when I wasn’t wearing it anymore. I was only slightly disappointed because it’s not as small as I was expecting. It isn’t completely covered by most of the shirts I wear (it pops through the back of my collar) and it is a bit bulky. It also is a bit tight underneath the arms and leaves marks on me, but the results are so immediate and significant that I don’t mind the discomfort or the fact that it isn’t completely hidden under my clothes. The results are amazing!

I just got my brace yesterday and wore it for about half an hour, so thats where Im coming from with this review. My family have noticed my poor posture lately and have been commenting on it, so Ive ordered a new chair for my home office, a lumbar support cushion for my chair at work, and this thing for when Im not at either. Ive got a large torso and wide shoulders, so I wasnt sure how long the straps should be; eventually I decided to put them on with only slightly lengthened straps from the default. Theyre elastic, and fairly strongly so, and they held my shoulders back in the proper posture without trouble. My family noticed immediately that I was standing straighter, so clearly theyre doing the job, and there wasnt any noticeable discomfort from the relatively tight straps. The seller recommends wearing them for short periods until you get used to them, and I can see why: I wore them only half an hour because my shoulders were getting sore. The fact of the muscle soreness suggests that my body is actually doing some of the work to hold my shoulders back (probably unconsciously), and thats good news: it means my rear deltoids will actually be tightening up over time while wearing them, improving my posture even without the brace on. I dont think this is the ideal solution for poor posture - barbell exercises for the chest and upper/lower back are the best solutions - but for anyone without time or access to a gym this is at lesat a reasonable alternative. I cant say how well this would help people with longterm injuries or chronic pain, as I dont have either, but at least as far as a single wearing this product seems to be exactly what its advertised to be. Ill update this review in a month or so, after Ive worn it more. EDIT: Ive now had the brace for two weeks, and I can safely say that its much more comfortable to wear for longer periods now than it was at the beginning. Ive restarted my weightlifting regimen, so its hard to say which has had more effect, but Ive noticed myself automatically sitting up straight without having to consciously make myself do so. Obviously, this involves tensing muscles, so I have a little bit more soreness after long periods sitting with no back support than before, but thats been fading as I become accustomed to it.
