Definitely breathe more comfortably with this bad boy by my bedside.

I live in a two-level condo, with neighbors below and on both sides. They smoke tobacco and pot, and the odor comes into my unit. The Coway helps me survive this onslaught. I have two other purifier brands also. The Aeroeve in my downstairs living room, the Coway in the hall at the top of the steps, and a Holmes in my bedroom. I try to keep them on automatic constantly to conserve energy, but when the people start smoking, I turn them all up on high to help clear the rooms. Not perfect, but it would be miserable without them.

I bought my Coway back in October of 2019. At the time we lived in an apartment that was right outside a freeway and our air was disgusting. After getting the Coway, every two weeks Id end up having to vacuum a significant amount of soot off the Coways metal screen filter and the carbon filter. Before using the Coway, it was easy to see (with a flash light at night) how much stuff was floating in the air. After using the Coway, the air was clean. The unit ran on the medium setting basically 24/7 for 3 years before we moved to a nicer place with cleaner air. By the end of that 3 years, the unit was pretty gross with dust built up on the exhaust grill and right inside of it, and after the move I partially disassembled the unit and gave it a very thorough cleaning and its as good as new. I figure this unit will last for the rest of my life at this point, seems like a solid and extremely effective model and the high price was definitely worth it. This is a great unit if you have dogs that shed. It picks up a lot of hair on its own just running in your home, but its most useful when brushing my dogs. Lying my corgi right in front of it, turning the fan on high, and using a furminator to remove his loose undercoat... the hair removed just gets sucked right up into the Coway and is held there until the brushing session is done. No real need to vacuum the floor after, and such easy clean up! Cant understate how great this is.

Whatever room this is in turns the air into crisp, clean mountain fresh air. My horrible allergies (red, swollen, itchy eyes, red skin, headaches, sneezing, coughing, trouble breathing) are gone wherever I put this miracle machine. If youre like oh maybe this wont work that one dudes one star review with a mold infestation said the air purifier was not as purported to be like he has bigger problems that an air purifier wont fix. Im going to buy one for each room now. Im obsessed.

This is the best air purifier I have ever owned. I love the timer and air speed controls. I like the ionizer option. The filters are expensive from the manufacturer, but better priced on Amazon. This air purifier is working great to keep my house purified due to the current air pollution-wild fire smoke currently in the northeast where I live.

Quietly clears the air of irritating particles. I wake without stuffiness. The only complaint is that the light on the unit that reports air quality is annoying when trying to sleep so I cover it with a towel.

Did my research this air purifier is the best bang for you buck while providing high quality cleaning. Very easy to operate and swapping out the filters couldn’t be any easier. Hope this helps if you’re looking at air purifiers!

I have two cats and a corgi that sleep with me at night. I keep this purifier in my bedroom between the dog bed and the enclosed litter box about four feet away. The window is almost always open unless it’s very cold out, so a lot of pollens get in, too (especially with this year’s super blooms!). I can’t believe how much this thing catches! Not just the loose pet hair, but the really fine dust as well. I love how quiet and compact it is. My dog is fond of “fluffing” his bed and blankets before settling on them, and the air quality sensor kicks into high gear automatically to catch the fur and dander when he does. He also likes to lay directly in front of it and feel the air flow as its drawn into the lower intake opening. I’ve had this a few months now and am very pleased with the performance. I clean the prefilter and carbon filter about every month and a half; the photo shows just how much accumulated.

This air purifier works super well and helps clean the air in my ~850 square foot home occupied by two people and two cats. I noticed a difference immediately, and let it run on high for the first day I got it. I leave it in my living room which is where I spend most of my time. I am sneezing way less and dont have as bad of a morning cough anymore. If you have a large home or multiple stories, dont buy a larger air purifier -- get 2 of these and spread them out. Larger air purifiers are not more effective. Design wise, I think this is the best looking air purifier available. Its barely audible on level 1, and makes a very pleasing air blowing noise with no fan motor noise on level 2, which are the most commonly used settings. On level 3 it moves a crazy amount of air and is of course pretty loud, but I only set it to that when Im actively cleaning or cooking. I leave the ionizer on all the time. The EPA test results on the energy star certification shows it does not create any detectible ozone, which mirrors Coways claim. Also, some older reviews show people covering the air quality light with tape. This light can be turned off by holding down the ionizer button for three seconds. I added some thick felt furniture pads to the bottom to reduce any noise transfer into my wood floor and to help keep it from sliding around when its on high. I think that is something that should have come with it. Otherwise the overall design and quality are excellent. Hopefully this lasts many years with no issues.
