> 24 hourEdit: wonderfully swift response from the support lady from Comgrow! Now I am happily using the extruder. The tension adjustment screw was not like the one in the picture, it is a rounded one instead. It has the same diameter so it can still push the spring, but I cannot adjust spring tension with bare hands now. Might replace that with the one from my old extruder.

> 24 hourAfter my printer started to fail every single print, I decided to do a whole bunch of upgrades. Not sure what was wrong though. After I took off the original plastic feeder off. Found out that it is pretty broken(it is black, hard to notice the crack). And that makes the metal upgrade a must. I wish I did the upgrade earlier, it would save me a lot of trouble.

> 24 hourSo, I saw the writing on the wall for my old plastic extruder; no cracks in the body of it, but the odd tube holder attachments just snapped the other day (I tended to place my thumb on them when changing filament). I did a little research, since I knew I had an Ender 3 Pro with a pressed in hobbed bolt on my extruder motor (from what Ive seen, this only accounts for a couple years of production for the model, so check for yourselves if you have them). And since I really didnt want to replace my stepper motor, I thought this upgrade should work with what I had, better than most other non OEM setups. I was correct with my assumption. Assembly wasnt bad, took me about 20 minutes following the exploded diagram sent with the package. I really cant say its printing that much better than the stock item, but I can see a difference in ease of loading filament for sure. With all that said, I thought it was a great inexpensive add-on to my printer. I got the added capricorn tubing and springs as spares, since I already had them on my setup. (worthwhile backup items)

> 24 hourThis a good replacement if your enders stock extruder cracks. However. it is not an upgrade to the creality extruder design. It does not change it to a dual gear extruder and you will get the same print quality as the plastic extruder. Very easy to install.

> 24 hourYellow springs are 25mm in length. Ender 3 uses a 20mm spring so many will run into trouble there. PTFE couplers are mostly cheap junk and not quality. Ended up returning.

> 24 hourOne of the parts had poorly machined threads, and wouldnt accept a screw. I reported it to the seller, and after some back an forth, they agreed to ship a replacement part. They told me theyd notify me when it shipped, but I havent heard anything, and its been over a week. Otherwise its fine, but I cant really recommend it based on my experience.

> 24 hourInstructions that come with it are in chinese, but the quality of the parts and everything were fantastic. Took about 15 minutes to install, and in all honesty saved me so many headaches I originally had with feeding new filament as well as measured right at the proper level of feeding without even doing a differential. I should add I used this on a CR6-SE, definitely could be a headache for other ones, but came with all the proper screws etc.
