I like the spring tension adjustment screw feature. However i do wish there was more information on that in the instructions.

The assumption that this will have any impact on improving your print quality is hilarious.. I got it mainly because it was only a few dollars more than just ordering the bowden tube & fasteners by them selves. They used a screen, as the method of securing the spring in place. Instead of just making 1 extra cut on the casting or cutting (however they make this thing) they could have added a little nub to keep the spring in place. The spring they provide is a bit long, which if you are OCD about things being aligned, then tightening the spring down so the thumb press aligns with the housing, will put to much tension causing the extruder stepper motor to have to work harder to push the filament through. The filament is pushed so hard against the extruder tip (with the teeth on it) that you can see the groves of the barring in the filament. This kept causing some of the softer filaments to be cut when going through the extruder. I ended up putting the original Ender 3 pieces back onto the machine. Again, this does not server any purpose other than looking pretty and does NOT improve print quality.

Fit perfectly and easy to install

Kit was okay overall, however the Capricorn Tube I received was flattened in several places. This has rendered the tube unusable, meaning I did not get the full upgrade.

this worked for a day or so and then I started having issues with under extrusion and now a complete inability to push filament. I discovered the filament was so tight in the tube that it wasnt able to extrude at all. now it trying to find my old stock tube so I can finally print again

Everything in this kit was awesome. It does take a little while to put it all together, but thats great since it helped me understand how my printer works and is put together. Definitely makes for a better overall printer. Great upgrade.

Works as intended

Does not work well for the Ender 5 Plus even though the listing says it will. I had severe under extrusion and I traced it down to the spring on the lever arm not being properly sized. The spring does not cause enough compression on the gear/pulley for it to feed the filament correctly, leading to sever under extrusion on the printed parts.

Installation was a breeze. Parts assembly diagram was provided for easy overview. Hopefully this will prolong the extruder with being metal instead of plastic.

The install of all these parts was not as difficult to do as i would have thought. The springs alone are worth it as they really help keep the bed level where as the originals have such a low spring coefficient my bed would have to be leveled every other print at least. The new feeder housing is awesome and is far more durable than the original. The new ptfe tube also helps reduce friction on the feeder. Overall pretty cheap upgrade to get the performance enhancements.
