The best assembly for combating under extrusion. The extruder assemble is well crafted and the tapered entrance for the filament eliminates a lot of drag.

First.. the costumer service rep iris from wolias is awesome. Totally understood my issue with the photos it was a cinch to resolve the matter. The metal extruder kit/bundle works wonderfully with a few sharp edges. One or two brands of fillament shave at entrance of fillament hole. Besides that works like a charm. Thank you.

If you have degrading prints look at the plastic extruder assembly, it softens and can not feed the filament consistantly. Ordered this and all problems with print quality went away. Read reviews about this, and the negative ones didnt make sense. This is a direct metal replacement with everything included. Also, the slop in the bowden tube isnt there anymore.

Have not bought this, but this is not a genuine Creality part. It is a clone. Hence why the screws are off. Get a genuine part sold BY CREALITY.

This is a must-have upgrade over the plastic version Creality includes on most of their printers. For the arguably low price point, I dont know why they wouldnt just include this on every printer they ship out and do away with the plastic version altogether. Ive purchased a few of these for non-Creality printers as well and it works just as good either way. Watch out though, there are cheap variations of these floating around out there made from soft aluminum and inconsistent tolerances. They are almost guaranteed to strip out or tear your filaments up. Ive tried to save a few bucks in my day and paid the price for it after having to come back and buy the legit Creality brand.

I liked everything in this kit...except for the springs. I actually went back to stock springs because the bed just would not stay level with these flat ones. Other parts definitely improved my setup.

The assumption that this will have any impact on improving your print quality is hilarious.. I got it mainly because it was only a few dollars more than just ordering the bowden tube & fasteners by them selves. They used a screen, as the method of securing the spring in place. Instead of just making 1 extra cut on the casting or cutting (however they make this thing) they could have added a little nub to keep the spring in place. The spring they provide is a bit long, which if you are OCD about things being aligned, then tightening the spring down so the thumb press aligns with the housing, will put to much tension causing the extruder stepper motor to have to work harder to push the filament through. The filament is pushed so hard against the extruder tip (with the teeth on it) that you can see the groves of the barring in the filament. This kept causing some of the softer filaments to be cut when going through the extruder. I ended up putting the original Ender 3 pieces back onto the machine. Again, this does not server any purpose other than looking pretty and does NOT improve print quality.

UPDATE: 16 June 2020 The replacement kit arrived from the seller, and everything works perfectly. I would absolutely shop with this seller again, as they quickly reached out and actually solved the problem I was having. This has been among the best experiences I have had on Amazon, to date! UPDATE: 08 June 2020 After troubleshooting and using the kit for several weeks, it appears the the pneumatic (conpression) connector was defective. Customer service contacted me and offered to replace the defective part. The rest of the hardware works great. My stock Ender 3 did not come with the extruder tension spring adjustment, so that alone was worth the upgrade. ORIGINAL Review: The stock Ender 3 pneumatic connector (gold) for the bowden tube, does not allow the bowden tube to move all the way through the connector. You can see this in my first picture. The new connector (silver) allows the bowden tube to move completely through. This has resulted with the bowden tube being pulled slowly back to the extruder gear, with each retraction. This ends up pinching/crushing/snapping the filament. Every single print that I have tried after this upgrade has failed in the same way...the first 2 - 3 layers are perfect...and then the filament snaps. The compression clip keeps the tube from being pushed out of the connector, but there is nothing to stop it from being pulled in to the extruder. I tried to install my stock (gold) fitting, but it is too small to fit in the new extruder base.

My main issue with this kit is that the included Capricorn tubing is totally asymmetrical. The hole is not in the center of the tube. This causes the filament to hit the inner edge of the nozzle rather than sliding to through cleanly, leading to significant under-extrusion. Be very careful to check the tube dimensions when you cut and install the tubing. I unfortunately didnt notice this initially, and needlessly replaced my nozzle thinking that it had a mystery clog that was restricting flow. Nope! Just bad tubing from this kit.
