Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD1

I replaced my internal HDD in my laptop with this SSD. Its been wonderful! My laptop had become almost useless so I replace Windows with Linux and loaded it on this drive. Ill be able to keep using this laptop for years now.

The crucial SSD is of very good quality, and stable.

The product was defective. I ordered the same product from B&H and it worked fine. As I received the product it was having some rough edges as if it was a refurbished defected product.

Bought this 2TB drive to replace an old 500 GB drive in an even older home-built system. It was a Seagate Momentus XT from back in the day when SSDs cost thousands of dollars. The Momentus combined a 4 GB SLC SSD with a platter and used SW to pre-stage your most often accessed data on the SSD. Needless to say, the Crucial MX blows away what was, at the time, some pretty impressive technology. Two things you need to know:
