10-06-2025My prebuilt was getting slower and slower so I got a 500GB MX500 for OS and programs and 1TB for games. Fresh install of Windows 10 and its like a new computer. I previously avoided some games because of the load times but they are much improved now. The main selling point of these drives for me is the Integrated Power Loss Immunity preserves all your saved work if the power unexpectedly gets cut. The speed wouldnt be worth it to me if a power issue would lose data or brick the drive.

10-06-2025I replaced the original 2010 MacBook 17 HDD with this SSD and Im so happy with the speed. My old MacBook was almost useless but now Im using it again.

Greater than one weekHuge improvement over an HDD. Easy to clone drives and to install. Simply a good SSD for the money.

> 3 dayThe drive came with Windows 10 installed. I called Crucial and they said all their SSDs come blank. So I received a used drive. Very disappointed and returning to Amazon. This is my 4th Crucial SSD and never had issues until now.
