> 3 dayThe read and write speed of this drive are just as stated. It is more expensive shopping for this item from Amazon due to high shipping cost than buying more cheaper Chinese products from Aliexpress (which are shipped to Nigeria, almost free of charge). The extra dollar is worth it. However, I wish that Amazon can find more affordable ways to ship items to Nigeria in order to encourage more people to shop from here.

> 3 dayI have been using Crucial PC memory enhancement products for several years now, and they have worked 100% double, triple, plenty AOK. When I replaced my original hard drive in my Toshiba PC (which was 8 1/2 years old at the time), I admit that I was a bit skeptical. But boy, oh boy, am I GLAD that I did put in the new Crucial Solid State Drive. My old computers performance increased at least 5X (and that means a 500 % increase in overall performance). Computer startup time is at least 5 times faster (and maybe even more than that). Starting up big applications is also much, much faster. And running multiple applications simultaneously has now become a pleasure. BUY a Crucial Solid State drive to replace your old hard disk...you cant go wrong :):)!!!

Greater than one weekNo complaints at all with my MX500 Crucial 500 gig SSD. I cloned my Crucial MX200 250 Gig SSD to the MX500 500 gig and the USB to Sata power and Sata data adapter I use works great to clone a drive perfectly while in Windows.

Greater than one weekI put this into my 27” i3 mid 2010 Imac. Works perfect! I replace the original hard drive that was in there. One thing you might want to buy besides just the ssd is a heat sensor. Because the old hard drive has one built in and when you put the new ssd in the fan just runs non stop haha.

Greater than one weekWorked beautifully for a couple of weeks, but then BIOS stopped seeing it. Customer support sent an email recommending leaving laptop on BIOS screen for 20 minutes, disconnecting drive for 30 seconds (x2), but that didn’t solve the problem. I returned it and am awaiting a drive from a different manufacturer. Fingers crossed. Maybe I was unlucky: most reviews are complimentary.

> 3 dayI normally buy Crucial SSD drives when I purchase SSDs. This one so far has not impressed me at all, it runs like a ragged out slug. This is the same drive I have in my Desktop PC and I couldnt ask for better performance. Not sure what the deal is with the one I put in my laptop but at this time it sucks. If I figure out the issue I will come back and redo this post.

> 3 dayIt was just what I ordered. No issues installing or cloning the old drive, it turned my old laptop into a quiet beast of a machine again. The price was great I would recommend this if your looking to upgrade or expand with a SSD drive. Totally amazed at how much faster my laptop boots up, processes information, web surfs etc. A truly wonderful upgrade. Thanks.

> 3 dayIve been using Crucial MX drives since the MX300s and I now have 6 of them in use across different machines as both main drives and storage drives. Overall, they have been fantastic and maintain their speed well until full. I use a lot of bargain DRAMless drives for bulk live-archive but there is definitely a performance hit as they start to fill, and most of them use bargain controllers that do have a high failure rate.
