Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD1

I took a budget laptop with a traditional hard drive and swapped it out with this SSD from Crucial. Its made a big difference without hiccups. We are very pleased with the results and oerformance.

The SSD is great but I had to return the one purchased from Amazon and buy it locally from BB (for the same price). Amazon shipped it in an unpadded plastic bag and it looked like the retail box was stepped on. Very poor shipping so I wasted a few days waiting to replace a failing HDD. The new drive installed easily but my computer didnt recognize it at first. Had to go to drive settings to have it show up after formatting.

Easy install, the cloning software was uber simple and effective for a Windows 7 cloning task.

Its pretty fast honestly, a fast SSD to. Storage capacity matches to. I use it for the OS and just specific programs and games to though, may eventually buy a 1TB SSD in the future for bigger games.

No problems with this drive. Fit in my older HP Pavillion DM4.
