Where have you been all my life?!? My mid-2012 MacBook Pro HDD was starting to act up, so much junk accumulated over time. Decided to give SSD a try, not too much of a techie but it seemed easy. Boy, was I shocked! SO SIMPLE! Connect a cable, clone the HDD, swap it out, and now I am in HEAVEN! Should have done this long ago, now I can work all day with most ALL of my apps running, no more “spinning beach-ball”! I highly recommend this drive and if you’re on the fence about making “The Change”, jump off and DO IT!

Nice and incredible to use just only a disadvantage is that 1tb sdd comes 932 gb only space.

Easy on mid 2012 MacBook Pro, upgraded with crucial RAMs as well. The ssd is compatible for Mac and pc as well.

This must work for most people - and maybe I just got a damaged drive, but windows cannot be installed on this without getting corrupted within a short time. I’ve seen quite a few people having the same issue, so I’m thinking there is some hardware/bios compatibility issue possibly going on. I wanted to try this brand instead of samsung for a change, but now I have to return it. My PC build is very small and only has room for a single ssd, and I need to be able to install the operating system on it. Samsung is not without it’s problems, but I’m not seeing many with the same issue with those drives. This will most likely work for you, but be warned if you plan on installing your os on it as there are potential problems. Do some research for your hardware.

Id been putting off buying a SSD to replace an old magnetic HDD, comparing brands and prices in the meantime. Crucial products are well made, by all accounts, and when the price of this 1TB dropped, I finally bought it.

My 2013 Macbook pro took very long to process everything. It even had problems for opening simple Word document or start browsing. I couldnt believe my expensive Macbook acted on me that way. I was so frustrated that I almost threw it to garbage!

This was a replacement for a 5400 rpm sata drive in an ASUS laptop. What a difference in speed from the old drive to the new SSD. No issues cloning the old drive to the new drive.

I replaced an eight year old 2 TB HDD with this 1TB SSD. I cloned my old HDD to this new SSD. I had about 550GB of info on the old 2TB HDD. After cloning and install, I put the old HDD in a drawer, just incase I had any problems. My plan was to wait 6 months and if I had no problems then I would install the HDD, re-format it, and set it up as my major storage device. Move all my Documents, Pictures, Videos, Downloads to the 2TB HDD and make it the default storage for any new files of those type.
