Used this to update a friends Dell Inspiron laptop.Came with a 2 mm thickness adapter, which (fortunately) I didnt need. I ran into this problem with a previous install, and went slightly nuts figuring out the reason for failure. Included Crucial transfer software software which worked just fine. (I have used Macrium Reflect in the past.)

I had 250 Gig Crucial SSD that came with my laptop. Upgraded this to 1TB. I cloned my SSD. You must download Crucial Acronis Software for this procedure to work right. I guess you can pay for your Acronis as well but mine was free from Crucial. Only negative is that mine state 919 Gig of total storage. I dont know why its not closer to 1TB?
